Anyhow, if you run into this issue of Consistency checks, you can only play it in Single Player or Specific servers with the Console cvar sv_consistency set to 0.

To access the console to begin with, go from the main menu to Options > Keyboard and Mouse > Enable Developer Console

Then press the Tilde key (~)

Type in to this console "sv_consistency 0" without quotes

Then you can play in singleplayer OR those servers that actually allow mods like this.
