  • The goals change depending on the difficulty you're playing at. If you're playing on Hard, for example, look for goals with an ✘ in the H column.
  • Sometimes there's a question mark in the goal (e.g. Modular Conveyor Asbo ? must be captured). This means that the target is part of a group and you must inspect all members of the group until you find the right one. Each time the mission is played, the group member changes.
  • Goals in bold are shown in a lighter yellow in-game. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but it seems to be related to "of all" type goals (e.g. 100% of all Rebel craft must be destroyed).
Battle One - The Aftermath of Hoth
Mission 1.1
Inspect cargo vessels as they pass through an Imperial checkpoint. You will fly a TIE Fighter. Be on the alert for Rebels trying to sneak past the checkpoint!

Protect a rendezvous with the Habeen wherein they deliver the new hyperdrive technology. You will fly a TIE Interceptor against Nharwaak Y-wings and corvettes. Ensure the Empire's acquisition of the new hyperdrive!

Stop the Nharwaak from providing the Rebels with the new hyperdrive technology. You will fly an Assault Gunboat against a Rebel frigate and its A-wings, X-wings and Y-wings. Make sure none of the enemy escape!

The VSD Sceltor, a flagship of Admiral Thrawn's, is on alert status because of Ex-Admiral Zaarin and his followers. Zaarin's forces are trying to inflict mass damage on the Empire by destroying the TIE Advanced production capability.

The defense of the few remaining TIE Advanced factories is one of the Emperor's top concerns. Thrawn has been put in charge of stopping Zaarin from inflicting any more damage upon home installations. But Zaarin's forces are not the only ones that wish to hurt the Empire.

@nidgereedo Missions like 2.5 are made easy if you use the "Infinite missiles" trick. Blast all your missiles as soon as you can, on actually targets is nice, then call the reload tug when he comes out. Once he is actively reloading you you can lock on and fire infinitely and the tug just keeps on reloading you. Its cheating without cheating 8)

A note for new players:

There's at least one impossible bonus goal in the campaign (destroy Tow AAA in 5.3; just replayed, and it's too far away for you to even hit with missiles before it's gone, even with everything to engines) and plenty that are impossible without cheating (go ahead and try to tell me you survived 24 X-wings, 12 at a time, in your single TIE fighter in the first simulator mission - I could use a laugh). There's simply no way they expect 100% perfection.

I believe the point of bonus missions was the developers covering their bases on what the players might do, no matter how insane they thought it was. If a player is careful and patient enough, maybe they could destroy a M/FRG with just a Tie Bomber. Why not give them an atta boy and some points for it if they do?

So unlike Primary or Secondary objectives, it's best to treat Bonus objectives as just that: a bonus. You should go for them if you can, but don't drive yourself nuts trying.

I just finished the game on Hard with all bonuses, secondary and primary objectives. Battle 1 through 13. I had to cheat on some missions because it was just too frustrating. Sometimes you play like a god for 12 minutes and then an enemy T/D hyperspaces out... :( I cheated by editing the mission files. If you want more details, just ask. I wanted to write a guide but I don't own the game on Steam. Thanks for your list however, it is nice and useful. Some walk-troughs have errors in their list of missions.

@nidgereedo If your goal is to achieve the highest ranking, you can get this as long as you get all the bonus missions in most (maybe 90%) of the missions. So, skipping a bonus goal here and there is totally fine :)

@Monkey Boson Thanks! I watched someone get the CRL and M/CRV to attack each other but even still having enough bombers to take out Shemsher is down to luck. I gave up and moved on 😐

@nidgereedo Thanks, it's fixed. I remember mission 2.5 and the capital ships bugged out for me and didn't return fire. I basically sat there with time at 4x lasing them for 20 minutes.

Thanks for this! Saves time using a topace pilot, go to the simulator, take down the bonus goals, change pilot, start mission, repeat.

Mission 2.5 - impossible bonus goals? In a T/F and 3 capital ships to destroy. The T/B’s get toasted way early and there’s a mission design bug. Commander says they’re carrying “heavy rockets and will do a lot of damage” - hardly the case 😂 They have torpedoes instead 🤦🏻‍♂️
