Note: There is no anime adaptation for this.

Game: ''Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls''.
A few characters from Ultra Despair Girls appear in Future, so it may benefit you to play this first, but it's not a dealbreaker to skip.
Note: While the game is set in between Danganronpa 1 & 2, because of spoilers you should play it 3rd (the way I ranked it here).

Note: The game was only available for 9 months, before online servers were turned off on November 13th, 2015 and the game was removed from both iOS and Android app stores. The game is not obligatory to experience the story in chronological order.

Game: ''Cyber Danganronpa VR The Class Trial''.
It is a virtual reality demo of ''Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc'', where players take part in a class trial similar to those of the original games.
Platform: PS4. Game is a demo.

Anime: ''Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen - Mirai-hen'' (aka. ''Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School - Future Arc'').

How to watch them:

About Ultra Despair Girls, I'd recommend watching a playthrough instead of playing it because the gameplay sucks. You can find playthroughs without commentaries on YouTube, both with English and Japanese audio. You can just skip through a lot of the repetitive gameplay to get to the story.

You can skip it entirely if you want, but it does have a really good story. It also gives great character development for an already established character from the previous games.
