85% of people I asked about Morrowind said that they don't play it because of it's fighting system. It is archaic. But I never used swords or smth. Only magic, only NOT ENOGH MAGICKA(until Balmora temple).

Attention to detail is great, but I don't find it fun. More Easter Egg material than anything else, but I'm not much of a reader in games. Now fortifying acrobatics, then casting levitation at your jumps peak, and raining down explosive AOE enchanted javelins on a group of NPCs as I do my best AC-130 role playing is what I like.

see there is an awesome middle ground between not having any quest markers and needing to solely rely on npc dialogue and books for directions and its making the clairvoyance spell actually fucking work and be useful like in skyrim all the times I would want to use clairvoyance, like to hunt down the baranziah stones, IT WOULDNT FUCKING WORK. so just make it so players who want the direct help of a quest marker can use clairvoyance to help guide them and the rest of us who like to read and have that awesome sense of discovery can explore the game contextually

I kind of wish a "hint" was added to "keep" the book after you read it so you know you might have glimpsed over it... especially since there's only 1 book I ever enjoy reading in the series and while it too references an Argonian, that journal is not the book I enjoy...

People that don't like reading, miss out on so much more then just a good story. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

nowadays people wouldn't want to play a game where you have to actually read in game books, listen to everything NPC's tell you and follow their directions to quests with no markers or indicators other than your journals description, and they would be missing out on one of the most immersive open world games in existence

"A settlement is in need of your help, here, I'll mark it on your map"

This method of quest line is a lot more like a real RPG than putting a marker on your map like Skyrim and Fallout do. I also like it because it gives the player a hint but not a shove. "Hey you might wanna come check this place I found" is a lot more comforting than mindlessly following a marker on your compass.
