With the "Lockdown" mod you can add custom crosshairs. I use this image:

First open the system menu by pressing the escape button. Than looking for the controls menu. Shown below:
note: be sure to turn off "double-tap to dash." And if you find the mouse look feature is not working simpley press "alt-enter" to move out of fullscreen into windowed. Than press "alt-enter" again to go back into fullscreen again. Everything should work after that.

How to Keybind Directional-Dash:
This menu can be found by pressing the "ESC" button in game. Once the system menu is open look for "Keybindings" > Movement > Directional-Dash.
Once all that is done your ready to play! It's just that simple!

Lets start with the Right Bumber
This one is important to know. Because this will toggle your control over Camera movements or Control of your mouse for clicking on items or of the like. If you've setup the game to use the "Mouse Look Mode" currently in beta, it with Toggle between your mouse or Camera Mode. Getting to know how this works is the main premise of how the controller support works. Without this feature turned on in-game this layout will not work as it's intended. Also holding the Right Bumper down will cause your character to "sprint" or to escape from a fight. (mainly to run away faster though.)

  • 2)
    RightTrigger
This acts as your left mouse click. As well as your first hotbar skill. (When you've toggled the Camera mode on to walk about the game.)

  • 3)
    Pressing the Start button
will open up your character sheet as well as your player inventory. Holding this button down will open the Action Set Builder. Or simply known as your skills window in game.

  • 4)
Here we have the "X" "Y" "B" and "A" buttons.
Though not really shown in the image above these serve two actions.

    "X"
The "X" button will use what ever skill is placed in your Third (3rd) hotbar. If this button is held it will use what ever skill is placed in the Fourth (4th) hotbar.

    "Y"
The "Y" button will use what ever skill is placed in your Fifth (5th) hotbar. If this button is held it will use what ever skill is placed in sixth (6th) hotbar.

    "B"
The "B" button will use what ever skill is placed in your Seventh (7th) hotbar. If this button is held it will use what ever skill is placed in Eighth (8th) hotbar.

    "A"
And for the "A" button, if pressed it will use both the "F" and "V" keys to both interact with objects in the game as well as loot (pillage) anything from a dropped enemy or of the likes.

  • 5)
    The Right Joystick
This in conjecture with the right bumper will move the camera or the mouse in game. Clicking this joystick in will use your Path Action For your explorers this will act as your Jetpack Jump.

  • 6.)
    The Left Bumper
This acts as the right mouse button, or your second hotbar skill. Also Holdind this will toggle an autorun feature in the game. Once you've pressed and held this button you can release the button once you start to run. no point in an autorun if you cant put the controller down right? (For some reason the normal keybind for autorun in-game will not work) So what this actually does is make the game think your pressing and holding the "W" key down till you move the right joystick or press the Left Trigger.

  • 7.)
    The Select Button
This is a handy one, pressing this will open up the World Map. And Holding this will open your Trade skills window.

  • 8.)
    The Left Joystick
This will move your Character about the world. Clicking this joystick in will make your character Jump/Double Jump.

  • 9.)
    The D-pad (directional pad)

Left D-pad will cast your Gadget ability.
Holding this will use your First Action bar slot.
(These you set like your skills)

Up D-pad will use your characters Innate ability.
Holding this will use your Second Action bar slot.
(These you set like your skills)

Right D-pad will use any Potions you've got on your hotbar.
Holding this will use your ThirdAction bar slot.
(These you set like your skills)

Down D-pad will summon any Mounts you have active.
Holding this will use your Fourth Action bar slot.
(These you set like your skills)

The Action bar on the left is used by using the default keys "Ctrl+1, 2, 3 and 4."

All of which correlate with their own directional pad button

  • 10.)
    Left Trigger: Active Layer
This is where it gets Advanced, shall we say. This works as a modifier to the Idle layer. Holding and ONLY when this button is held down will it be "Active." Get it? Because when you're holding this button you are activating the secondary controller layer. This is what helps you navigate the game and it's graphical user interface. Or the G.U.I. or UI for short.

And that concludes the first lession about the Idle layer.

For example say you have pressed the Autorun button and you want to look around the game, but still run in a straight line. Press the Right bumper while autorun is active and hold the Left Trigger to use this independent camera movement in juncture with, the right joystick to rotate the camera while you run.

  • 12.)
    Active Right Bumper
Pressing this while you have the world map open will place a Waypoint on the map where ever the mouse cursor is on the map.

  • 13.)
    Active Start Button
This will open the game's system menu. It'll also close out of open windows like the inventory, Action set builder, bank, store windows ect. Holding this will also hide the game's graphical interface.

  • 14.)
    Active "X" "Y" "B" and "A" buttons.

    "X"
The "X" button will act as your Objective ability. Such as the Quest items you need to use during a quest. Press this to use those abilities.

    "Y"
The "Y" button will use your Path Action. And holding this will activate your second Path Action.

    "B"
The "B" button will toggle your Scanbot

    "A"
This will open your communicator. This one is pretty cool too, if you have the QuestLine mod from the Twitch mod manager.

So just like the name suggests, this will toggle between the three (3) walking modes in the game. Walking, Jogging and Running.

  • 16.)
    Active Left Bumper
Pressing this will Target the next enemy. Holding this will Preview an Item. What this does is press' the left control and the right mouse button at the same time. to open up a little drop down menu to look at items before you accept them from a quest.

  • 17.)
    Active Select button
Pressing this will open your Codex. (Your Quest Log.) Holding this will also open up the Content Finder window. Where you can que for Dungeons, Adventure, Expeditions and PvP modes.

  • 18.)
    Active Left Joystick
this is still acting as your default movement keys to walk about the world. However, clicking this joystick in will activate your Directional Dodge. IF you keybind the left control and spacebar in the in-game keybinds options under Directional Dodge.

  • 19.)
    Active D-pad

    D-pad Left
This will use your Recall skill.
Holding this will use the First skill on Action bar2. These you set like your skills

    D-pad Up
Pressing this will simplely Zoom the camera In or scroll through text.
Holding this will use the Second skill on Action bar2. These you set like your skills

    This will toggle your weapon.
Holding this will use the Third skill on Action bar2. These you set like your skills

Unfortunately this controller profile was one of my most proudest creations I've ever made for an MMoRPG. The sad truth of it all was after I made this, and felt the deep pleasure of satisfaction after putting this guide together for all to enjoy. The game shuts down. I leave this uploaded for others to use and gather inspiration for their own controller profiles. I would be greatful to to see others make support for MMoRPGs Like I do. So please use this guide and enjoy creating controller support!
