Route Divergence & Kyouko/Kouin Survival Requirements

A complete list of the requirements for saving Kyouko & Kouin and for attaining each heroine's route. Corrects a few mistakes present in Dakkodango's guide.

How to Save Kyouko/Kouin

1. You must have completed the game at least once before. You do not have to be on a NewGame+.
2. After the duel with Kouin in Mission 16: Capture the capital of Malorigan, Yuuto's mind must be at least 90.
3. You must select the following choices:

• "I have to do something myself." (Appears after Mission 13: Advance on the Heliya Road and capture Slegid.)
  
• If you defeated Kyouko's squad in Mission 14: Defend Ransa, "I'm not mistaken." (If you didn't fight Kyouko's squad, ignore this requirement.)
  
• "I won't let them be sacrificed." (Appears after Mission 15: Invade Slegid and dispel the mana barrier.)
  
• "So, atone for it!" (Appears during the event with Kyouko in Mission 16: Capture the capital of Malorigan.)

Route Divergence 1

Occurs on Turn 10 of Mission 14: Defend Ransa

• Yuuto must have at least 30 Mind on all routes.
  
• For Aselia's route, the following conditions must be met:
  
  • Aselia must have at least 20 Mind and 40 affection. The following actions raise affection:
    
    • +1 affection for each enemy squad defeated by a squad containing Yuuto and Aselia.
      
    • +2 affection for each of the choices "3. I'll go with you!", "2. Persuade her to confess.", and "3. Myself." in the prologue.
      
    • +5 affection for choosing "Aselia" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
      
    • +1 affection automatically during Mission 12 in Chapter 3.
• For Esperia's route, the following conditions must be met:
  
  • Esperia must have at least 40 Mind and 40 affection. The following actions raise affection:
    
    • +1 affection for each enemy squad defeated by a squad containing Yuuto and Esperia.
      
    • +2 affection for each of the choices "2. I'll wait for you!", "1. Cover for her.", and "2. My wife." in the prologue.
      
    • +5 affection for choosing "Esperia" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
      
    • +2 affection for choosing "I want to know about you, Esperia." after Mission 12 in Chapter 3.
• For Oruphaliru's route, the following conditions must be met:
  
  • You must choose "Sure, I'll come" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
    
  • Oruphaliru must have at least 40 Mind and 40 affection. The following actions raise affection:
    
    • +1 affection for each enemy squad defeated by a squad containing Yuuto and Oruphaliru.
      
    • +2 affection for each of the choices "1. Don't go, for my sake!", "3. Snitch.", and "1. My child." in the prologue.
      
    • +2 affection for choosing "Sure, I'll come" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
      
    • +5 affection for choosing "Orpha" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
• For Uruka's route, there are no additional requirements. You will automatically get this route if you fail to meet the other routes' conditions.
  
• For Lesteena's route, the following conditions must be met:
  
  • You must get the neutral result ("A fickle person who wants to protect everyone.") after the choices in the prologue (i.e. don't choose all three of the same heroine's choices).
    
  • You must choose "Someone else" -> "Lesteena" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2.
    
  • You must choose "I will cooperate until the end." after Mission 12 in Chapter 3.
    
  • You must choose "I'll head to town." during Mission 14 in Chapter 3.
• For Kyouko/Tokimi's route, the following conditions must be met:
  
  • You must have completed the game at least once. (You do not have to be on a NewGame+.)
    
  • You must get the neutral result ("A fickle person who wants to protect everyone.") after the choices in the prologue (i.e. don't choose all three of the same heroine's choices).
    
  • You must see all sub spirits' scenes, by making the following choices:
    
    • "I'm curious" after Mission 2 in Chapter 1 (Helion).
      
    • "Rest in my room." -> "Go shopping in town." after Mission 5 in Chapter 2 (Nelie & Shiah).
      
    • "Call out to her" after Mission 9 in Chapter 2 (Halion).
      
    • "Rest in my room" -> "Investigate Nanaru" after Mission 9 in Chapter 2 (Nanaru).
      
    • "I‟m curious, so I‟ll go talk to them" after Mission 11 in Chapter 2 (Nimnthor & Faren)
      
    • "Go and see." after Mission 12 in Chapter 3 (Himika).
  • You must choose "I have to do something myself" after Mission 13 in Chapter 3.
    
  • You must defeat Kyouko's squad before turn 10 and choose "I'm not mistaken" during Mission 14: Defend Ransa in Chapter 3.

In the case that two or more routes' conditions are fulfilled, the route with higher priority is triggered: Kyouko/Tokimi -> Aselia -> Esperia -> Oruphaliru -> Lesteena -> Uruka.

Route Divergence 2

Occurs at the end of Chapter 4, after Mission 21: Defeat Shun and rescue Kaori

• Under the following conditions, the game stops here with a Bad End. This does not count as completing the game, and thus will not unlock additional content or difficulty levels or enable NewGame+.
  
  • Yuuto had less than 30 Mind at the first divergence point.
    
  • In the Kyouko/Tokimi route, you failed to save Kyouko and Kouin.
    
  • In the Kyouko/Tokimi route, at least one sub spirit died in combat. (If they were reduced to 0 HP but revived before the end of combat, that doesn't count as "dying".)
• If you did not get a Bad End, the Kyouko/Tokimi route splits here:
  
  • If Kyouko's Mind is at least 70, you get Kyouko's route.
    
  • If Kyouko's Mind is less than 70, you get Tokimi's route.
