Introduction
Hello! My name is Raygen, I'm a level 76 Spirit Shaper that has been playing revelation for around 6 months now. I put this guide together with the help of my lovely guildies, who helped me add additional info and to keep the facts up to date.

Let's get to it!
Lvl 45+ start gearing up!
There are two ways to craft raid gear in Revelation online: Handmade crafting and Synthesis crafting. Handmade crafting is faster, but extremely expensive, and 90% of the time the gear you make is total crap. I'll discuss synthesis crafting first, and handmade crafting second.

Introduction
Crafting raid gear is the best way to gear up as you level because higher level gear tiers can be crafted out of your lower level gear. For example, I can craft a lvl 55 piece of gold raid equipment out of my currently equipped lvl 45 raid gear, and so on. You can keep upgrading your gear like this until level 79!

Crafting raid gear is the cheapest top tier gear you get for PVE until you're level 79, where you will start doing a raid called EC hell for the best PVE gear in the game. However before you can do EC hell, you will need to be very well geared.

I am here to show you how!

This is where you can find a list of raids and the level requirements. I've highlighted Deserted Shrine, which is the raid you want to be doing to get all your gold 45+ equipment. Once you are level 55+ you can start doing the next raid, Grand Bulwark, for the next tier of gear.

Deserted Shrine is a 5 person raid. There are different "versions" of the raid. DSE (Deserted Shrine Easy), DSH (Deserted Shrine Hard), and DSX (Deserted Shrine Expert). Don't do DSE. You can do DSH once a day and DSX 3 times a week. All expert raids have 5 different difficulties. You should always try to do the third difficulty (3*) because it drops the most loot. The 4th and 5th difficulties require a special item drop and are REALLY hard and are for max level players.

There are 3 ways to get raid gear materials. Do raids to collect materials for gear crafting, spend Demonslayer points to buy the materials you need, or buy the materials off the auction house. Demonslayer points can be gained by doing raids and participating in daily events, such as Daily Token. These events can be found under your "U" Road to Greatness.

The "Guardian Lesser Grocer" sells low level Demonslayer materials (and other things) needed for crafting. You can find one in each major city.

You will notice here that buying this material costs Demonslayer points and Soul of Mist. You gain large quantities of Soul of Mist while doing the raid Deserted Shrine.

You will find that most materials require you to have a certain Demonslayer rank to purchase. These are easy, quick quests you do once ranking up. You can see here that there are "requirements" that you need to complete before you are able to rank up. Once you meet these requirements, just click on the guy's name in blue to auto-path to the quest location and rank up.

Now that you have your materials, let's start crafting! You can see here that I now have all the materials needed to craft some gold quality pants for my class. All I need to do now is hit the confirm button.

So what now? Once you level up to 55+ you can start doing the Grand Bulwark raid for your higher lvl raid gear! As you can see in the screenie, to craft the next level of gear just select the higher level pants. You'll see that to craft the next tier, you can use your old lvl 45 pants to reduce crafting costs. You want to choose the option with the LOWEST crafting costs, such as the one highlighted. The reason for this is because if you choose to unlock the 4th tier or mark slots in your gear, the next time you want to upgrade, you will have to spend a lot more resources. It's just a waste. Wait until your gear is all lvl 70 before worrying about upgrading to the 4th tier or unlocking more mark slots.
Gear refinement
Gear refinement and upgrading is a very integral part of improving your gear.

First, I will show you HOW to refine your gear.
Second, I show you the CHEAPEST way to refine your gear.

I've highlighted the most important details. When you refine, you want to get your "success rate" to 100%. When starting out, do NOT go higher then 100% because it uses more materials, and your goal to begin with is to get as much refinement as you can. Do not worry about your improvement percentages until all your gear has max refinement levels. The reason for this is because the biggest gear "increases" are at the 5th, 9th, and 13th refinement levels. These unlock extra stats called venerations, which you can access under the "Renew" tab in the same area.

Now I'll show you the best place to get your refinement materials! This method is the cheapest. You want to go buy your mats from a guy names "Horace Aula".

Here is Horace Aula's shop. I've highlighted the refinement materials he sells. As you can see, they cost "Bronze Shards" which is an important currency.

The cheapest, fastest and easiest way to obtain bronze shards is to buy them with Aurum at the in game store. Luckily, you can purchase Aurum with in game coin, so you don't need to spend any real $$$ if you don't want to. Go to the store and find something called a "Ninechain Chest". Each chest generally gives 2700-3400 bronze shards. The "tokens" you get from the chest can be sold to Horace Aula for bronze shards. This method is much cheaper then buying refinement mats from the auction house.
Tier Upgrades
Each piece of gear has 4 tiers (or 5 for SUPER RARE handmade equip). The 4th tier is expensive to unlock, and should only be unlocked with level 69 or 79 gear. The first two tiers increase your gear stats by 6%, 6% for ALL stats. Second two tiers increase your stats by 4%, 4% (also for all stats).

You unlock the first 3 tiers of your gear, all you need is XP. This is easily done by doing the SCOUR daily on your "U" Road to Greatness.

The 4th tier costs tier beads to unlock. These can be gained from random events or bought in bulk at Horace Aula's shop for bronze shards.

Venerations
Venerations are buffs you unlock for your gear at +5, +9, and +13 refinement levels. Once you have +13 refinement on a piece of gear, you will unlock all 3 veneration slots! Venerations are completely random, it's up to you to decide which stats you want. Luckily, you can keep re-rolling the stats until you get what you want (for a price). I would not worry about venerations until you have +13 refinement on your gear, as you will have to re-roll your old venerations to get the next veneration unlocked, so it's just a waste of materials.

Every time you renew your venerations, you choose whether to KEEP your old one, or roll again, so you will not lose your current venerations unless you want to switch.

Gold is the best veneration type because it has the highest range of stats. If possible, try to get three gold venerations that work well for your class. Ofc, this is pretty hard to roll, so goodluck!
Exalting
Raid gear pieces have permanent stats and stats that can be re-rolled. The changable stats are colored green. However, green stats do NOT transfer when upgrading your gear (going from 59 gear to 69 for example). The green stats get re-rolled all over again when you upgrade. I would not recommend re-rolling your green stats for anything except 79 gear (and MAYBE 69 gear) because it is expensive to do.

You can see here that there are 2 renewal types, type 1 and type 2. Type 1 uses materials you get from the respective raid according to the gear lvl. Type 2 also uses raid materials, but uses "tickets" you get from salvaging gold gear. Similar to veneration, when you select "Renew" you have the option to keep your old Exalt or use the new one you rolled.

You also have the option of using green stats from another set of equipment but of the same type. For instance, if you already have a 79 weapon but another 79 raid weapon drops in a raid and you win it, and it has great green stats, you can use the "Exalt Switch" tab to transfer the green stats to your own weapon.
Handmade crafting + demonslayer gear
Apart from synthesis crafting, there are two other ways to get your PVE gear.

First way is buying gear pieces straight out with demonslayer points. This gear typically isn't as good as the raid gear you can get, but sometimes it will have better stat options (for instant, if you'd rather have crit over spirit off the raid gear).

Second way is handmade crafting gear. Handmade crafting gear is really expensive and the stats + stat ranges are completely random. You can definitely get much better gear hand crafting, BUT 90% of the time the gear you craft will be much worse.

To buy gear with demonslayer points, just come talk to the guys here.

They sell sets for 49, 59, 69, 79 level ranges and straight up cost demonslayer points

Now handmade crafting is a little more complicated. You will need 4 things to craft handmade items. A blueprint, a billet, a formulation, and identification oil. You can find these items on the auction house, or craft them yourself (except for blueprints, you get those from a quest called Handmade Equipment). You MUST match each ingredient to what blueprint (gear piece) you are trying to craft. For instance, if you want to craft a ring, you will need a ring billet, accessory formulation, and accessory identification oil for the appropriate level tier.

If you look toward the top, you'll notice there's Normal, Fine, and Exquisite crafting methods. Fine and Exquisite crafting take extra items (Tourmaline Shards and Firestone) to craft the items. By crafting with Fine or Exquisite, you will increase the minimum range of possible white stats. For example, here you can see the minumum magic attack possible is 25-44 for Normal crafting. If you Fine craft, the range can change to 30-44, so you'll have a better chance of getting stronger gear.

Once you craft your item, you'll need to use identification oil on it to "unlock" it and reveal the stats.

This is the completed Normal crafted ring!

Attributes - Spirit Shaper
Every time you level up, you're given a set amount of "potential" to use for attributes. You get to pick what stats you want to increase. Here's your chance to customize your character's strengths and weaknesses. Full damage squishy? Sure! Unkillable tank with 0 dmg? Why not! With the help of some max level guildies, I've outlined the "optimal" attribute distributions for each class.

For Spirit Shapers, Spirit is your main stat

For PVE you want as much healing as possible, spirit will give you high survivability as well

3 Spirit: 1 Vigor: 1 Intel: 1 Dexterity

For PVP I would put more in Vigor and Intel. Intel greatly increases your damage, which while not useful in large fights, is extremely helpful in smaller fights like in Deathmatch. You also increase vigor to deal with the large amount of Physical damage you will be facing in PVP

3 Spirit: 2 Vigor: 1.5 Intel: 1 Dex

Attributes - Blademaster
For DPS Blademasters, strength is your main stat
Blademasters do not need much crit, so keep dex low. You need vigor and spirit for tankiness, strength for damage.

3 Strength: 1.5 Vigor: 1.5 Spirit: .5 Dexterity
Attributes - Swordmage
For Swordmages, intelligence is your main stat.
For both PVE and PVP you want essentially the same stats. With Iceblock you can survive any burst in PVP and then you can return a burst on your own before teleporting away, so there is little need for defensive stats.
4-5 Intel: 1-1.5 Dexterity: 1 Spirit: 1 Vigor:
Attributes - Occultist

For Occultists, Dex is your main stat
In general for both PVE and PVP you will still want some in spirit and vigor, but if you prefer being no damage and pure burst, you can put 0 in both. I would say this would make you less effective in PVP, as you won’t escape as often, and for PVE it will make it very difficult for you to survive before higher levels.

(PVE) 5 Dexterity: 1 Spirit: 1 Vigor
(PVP) 2 Dex: 1 Spirit: 1 Vigor
Attributes - Assassin/Gunslinger
Dexterity is your main stat.
In general for both PVE and PVP you will still want some in spirit and vigor, but if you prefer being no damage and pure burst, you can put 0 in both.
