STARTERS:
Sonic the Hedgehog
Game of origin: Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
Vehicle: Speed Star

The world's fastest hedgehog, Sonic is known for performing Spin Attacks on Dr. Eggman's badniks to free the trapped animals. His other attacks include the Spin Dash, which really sends him for a roll. He has an inability to swim, but this doesn't stop him from going after Eggman to stop his nefarious schemes. His buddy, Miles "Tails" Prower, teams up with him on his many adventures to take the mad scientist down.

For this competition, Tails built Sonic a car, the Speed Star, to make it fair because nobody can beat him on foot. This vehicle has average speed and handling, but has high acceleration and an excellent turbo-boost.

His All-Star move is Super Sonic, allowing him to charge ahead at high speeds and knocking aside any racers that get in his way.

Miles "Tails" Prower
Game of origin: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992)
Vehicle: Tornado Racer

This two-tailed fox is Sonic's good friend and a super-smart individual. He is seen all over the place flying with his two tails. In his spare time, Tails likes to create planes, cars, and all sorts of mechanisms.

Tails' vehicle, the Tornado Racer, has average speed and turbo-boosting, but has high acceleration and handling.

His All-Star move is the Tails Tornado. Once activated, Tails whips up a tornado that pulls him ahead at high speeds and sends whoever gets in its path for a spin.

Amy Rose
Game of origin: Sonic the Hedgehog CD (1993)
Vehicle: Pink Cabriolet

Amy is a hedgehog who is always going after Sonic due to her deep love for him. She is also pure-hearted, positive, but slightly erratic. When angered, she goes after her foes and introduces them to her Piko-Piko Hammer.

In competitions, Amy isn't afraid of a little action with her car, the Pink Cabriolet. The vehicle has above average speed, handling, and turbo-boosting, but great acceleration.

Her All-Star move is the Piko Hammer. With it, Amy pulls out a giant Piko-Piko Hammer and flattens anyone within range.

Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik
Game of origin: Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)
Vehicle: Egg Monster

Dr. Eggman, a mad scientist and Sonic's arch-enemy, enjoys whipping up schemes that put South Island in danger and orders his robots to carry out his schemes. He dreams of creating Eggman Land and will be more than glad to stop anyone who tries to prevent him from carrying out his dream.

Eggman's vehicle, the Egg Monster, has excellent speed, great turbo-boosting, but his handling is below average and acceleration is poor.

His All-Star move is called Missile Madness. When activated, Eggman's vehicle turns into a miniature Egg Mobile and fires a barrage of missiles at the racers ahead of him.

Shadow the Hedgehog
Game of origin: Sonic Adventure 2 (2001)
Vehicle: Dark Rider

Crafted by Eggman's grandfather as "The Ultimate Life Form", Shadow initally had a hatred for Sonic, but the two hedgehogs have patched things up and formed a friendly rivalry. Shadow's attacks are very similar to Sonic's attacks. However, unlike Sonic, Shadow has Chaos Control, which allows him to manipulate time and space.

Shadow's vehicle, the Dark Rider, has below average speed and average turbo-boosting, but its acceleration and handling are great.

His All-Star move is Super Shadow. Unlike Super Sonic, Shadow throws Chaos Spears that send out mini shockwaves the moment they hit the ground, damaging any racers nearby.

AiAi
Game of origin: Super Monkey Ball (2001)
Vehicle: Blazing Banana

AiAi, the banana-loving hero of Jungle Island, is often saving his home and his wife MeeMee from Dr. Bad-Boon, a crazed scientist who has the hots for her. In his spare time, AiAi enjoys eating bananas, spending time with his family, play games, and live a laid-back life.

His vehicle, the Blazing Banana, has average speed and handling, but good acceleration and turbo-boosting.

AiAi's All-Star move is Super Monkey Roll. With it, he hops into a Monkey Ball and calls MeeMee, Baby, and GonGon to come and bowl over the other racers.

Billy Hatcher
Game of origin: Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (2003)
Vehicle: Racing Rooster

Billy Hatcher is a boy from the human world that was called by the Chicken King of Morning Land to save them from the Crows. After donning the legendary rooster suit, Billy and his friends set out on an adventure to prevent an eternal night.

Billy's All-Star move is the Egg Rodeo. His car turns into a giant egg and steamrolls anyone who gets in his way.

Amigo
Game of origin: Samba de Amigo (1998)

This monkey just loves partying and doesn't go anywhere without his maracas. His sister, Amiga, and a few of their friends party non-stop on Carnival Island.

His vehicle is the Sun Buggy. It is a maraca-shaped vehicle that has below average speed, great acceleration, perfect handling, and a low turbo-boost.

Amigo's All-Star move, Samba de Party, allows the monkey to break out into a dance craze. Any kart he touches gets behind his kart to form a conga line. Once the All-Star move ends, anyone involved in the conga line will disembark as well as take damage.

Big's vehicle, the Green Hopper, has above average speed and turbo-boosting, poor acceleration, and horrible handling. One thing to note is that the bike takes a little longer to charge a turbo-boost unlike most vehicles. However, should you manage to get a Level 3 Drift, you'll be flying down the tracks in no time.

Big's All-Star move is Giant Froggy. With it, he calls Froggy and said frog turns into a giant that hops along the track, flattening any racers that get in his way.

Game Modes
GRAND PRIX:

Availability: Single Player

In this mode, much like most kart racers, you compete across four tracks to get the most points as you can in one go. Unlike most kart racers, if you aren't satisfied with your performance on the current track, you are given the option to start the race over.

When you complete a track, you receive points based on your current placement:

  • 1st: 10 points
  • 2nd: 8 points
  • 3rd: 6 points
  • 4th: 4 points
  • 5th: 3 points
  • 6th: 2 points
  • 7th: 1 point
  • 8th: No points.

Whoever has the most points at the end of the Grand Prix is the winner. To unlock more cups, you must finish within the top 3.

SINGLE RACE:

Availability: Single Player, Multiplayer

This mode lets you race on the track of your choice as well as using it to accumulate Sega Miles to unlock more tracks. You are given the option to choose how many laps you want to race, the AI difficulty level, and whether or not you want to race with powerups.

In multiplayer, the player who has the highest rank amongst those racing, regardless of whether they finished in 1st or not, wins the round.

TIME TRIALS:

Availability: Single Player

In this mode, you pick the track of your choice and see if you can beat your previous best time. If you or your friends have created licenses in this game, you can see what their best time is and choose to race them.

MISSIONS:

Availability: Single Player

This mode features modified tracks where players have to clear certain objectives before time runs out. Each mission comes in a different type, all of which have different objectives. These being:

  • Race: No bells and whistles here. Just get to the finish while staying in the top 3.
  • Rival Race: It's you and a rival on a specified track. You must pass them before they reach the goal.
  • Drift: Reach the goal while performing drifts. Longer drifts yield better results.
  • Avoid: Reach the goal while steering clear of certain obstacles.
  • Battle Race: It's you and a computer-controlled opponent. Take them down before they reach the goal.
  • Boost: Reach the goal while boosting after drifting, running over a Boost Pad, or performing a trick. The longer the boost, the better the result.
  • Collect: Pick up a certain number of objects before reaching the goal.
  • Grand Prix: You race across three tracks with the same theme. Your job is to finish within the top 3.
  • Hit Contest: Hit as many objects as you can using an item such as the K.O. Glove. Some missions require you to just ram into the target.
  • Knockout: See below.
  • Score Gates: Pass through some gates to earn as many points as you can before time runs out.
  • Time Gates: Reach the goal with the remaining time left. Green Time Gates give you more time while red takes it away, as well as any Stars you've accumulated.

More information on the missions in this mode will come later.

BATTLE:

Availability: Multiplayer

This mode plays like the traditional Last Man Standing element seen in most multiplayer video games. All 4 players start with the K.O. Glove, which can be changed into a different item with the Item Monitors scrambled throughout the arenas.

CAPTURE THE CHAO:

Availability: Multiplayer

In the same vein as Steal the Bacon, players must race across arenas to pick up Chao balloons and take them to the specified destinations before the other players can stop them. Whoever has the most points at the end of the round wins.

GRAB:

Availability: Multiplayer

In this mode, Chaos Emeralds appear around the arenas for the player to collect and increase their score. However, the more Chaos Emeralds a player collects, the slower they will go, making it easier for other players to hit them.

If a player is hit, they will lose all of the Chaos Emeralds they have in possession. Whoever has the most points at the end wins.

KING OF THE HILL:

Availability: Multiplayer

In this mode, players compete to park in a sector to gain points for waiting while other players try to snag control and knock each other out of the sector. Overtime, the sector will change positions, prompting players to remain alert and go after it. If another player enters the zone that's already occupied, it will be "contested" and points cannot be earned until there is at least one player in the zone.

KNOCKOUT:

Availability: Single Player (Mission Mode only), Multiplayer

In this mode, players race to stay ahead of the competition. Any racer in last place will be out until one racer remains. During this time, they cannot do anything to slow down the other racers. Much like Battle, the last one standing wins.

Tracks (Sonic the Hedgehog - Seaside Hill)
The tracks in the game are all based on locations from several current or former Sega video games or franchises.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG:
Locations used: Seaside Hill, Casino Park, Final Fortress

"Seaside Hill is a tranquil, oceanic coastal area. The landscape is made up of a calm ocean, long beaches, green grass and iconic checkerboard rock faces, with a large stone temple dominating the view. Expect to loop the loop, and watch out for the bumper hazards! The inhabitants of Seaside Hill are mechanical crabs, which will try to hinder you." ~in-game description of Seaside Hill.

The tracks that use Seaside Hill as its theme are Whale Lagoon, Lost Palace, and Ocean Ruin. As the name implies, Seaside Hill is based on the first zone from the 2003/2004 video game Sonic Heroes. The intro used for all three tracks is the title screen music from Sonic Adventure 2, which itself is derived from the song "Live and Learn", and the "Race finish" theme is the Act Clear theme, also from Sonic Adventure 2.

Whale Lagoon is the first track of the Chao Cup and the first track in the game overall. Players start at a double fork in the road that leads to a spiraling wooden bridge that leads them across a grassy plateau to the first Shuttle Loop of the game. After said shuttle loop, players turn right through a small grassy canyon, then turn right to the start.

The only shortcut in this map involves players jumping off the edge of the second set of roads that allow them to glide over the water to the spiraling bridge. If they do that too soon, they'll land in the water.

---

Lost Palace is the third track of the Horror Cup and the fourteenth track overall. It takes place near an abandoned palace with a corkscrew straight and a few jumps at the end.

Players start on the beach where they must avoid these Badniks called Crabmeats, which are crab-like robots from the Sega Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog, released in 1991. They then drive up a grassy hill then go through a corkscrew straight, make their way through an S-turn, then jump over a broken bridge to the other side. Just past this part is another turn where players must avoid the Chompers that jump up in front of the ramp to cut them off. Afterwards, the player must make two more jumps, then do a U-turn and turn left as they head back to the start.

The only shortcut in this map is just after the jump with the Chompers, there is a small shore with some Boost Pads and a jump ramp.

---

Ocean Ruin is the last track of the Samba Cup and the twentieth track overall. The track takes place near a shore that has plenty of jumps and turns. The most important feature of the track is a giant, cylindrical glass tube that players spend a majority of the race in, with plenty of boost pads to keep the pace going.

You start by going through two shores, then ride Boost Pads into the tube. While in there, keep an eye out for any items your opponents leave behind, as they will catch you out if you aren't too wary. To keep things going, the tube is littered with Boost Pads you drive over to make sure you maintain a steady speed. At the end of the first tube, players then jump over to the other half of the tube, where they drive through it and come out through a rocky cavern. Finally, the players will then encounter a bridge where they must turn right, jump over the water, and turn left to complete the lap.

There is a shortcut in the bridge area, but unless you have a Super Sneaker, you'll have trouble trying to get around the Chompers, as they can cut your speed off if they hit you.

---

The Seaside Hill tracks have the following themes:
  • Seaside Hill - Sonic Heroes (default)
  • Can You Feel the Sunshine? - Sonic R (Buy for 3000 Sega Miles)
  • A New Day - Sonic Rush (Buy for 3500 Sega Miles)
  • Windy and Ripply - Sonic Adventure (Buy for 4500 Sega Miles)
  • Palmtree Panic (Present) - Sonic the Hedgehog CD (Buy for 2500 Sega Miles)

---

Fun fact: Whale Lagoon and Lost Palace return in Team Sonic Racing. Ocean Ruin is the only track to not return.
Tracks (Sonic the Hedgehog - Casino Park)
"This giant, neon lit, casino-themed area is home to huge fruit machines, roulette wheels and pinball tables. Balls roll by in the hustle and bustle as you race, avoiding hazards such as pokers chips, pinball flippers and bumpers. Hold on to your hat, because you will often be traversing vertical sections of track or going for a gravity-defying drive on the ceiling." ~ In-game description for Casino Park

The Casino Park tracks are, just like Seaside Hill, based on the zone of the same name from Sonic Heroes. The intro that plays for all three tracks is the Super Sneaker theme from Sonic Heroes, and the "Race finish" theme is "Enemy or Friend?" from Sonic Rush. The tracks in here are Roulette Road, Pinball Highway, and Bingo Party.

Roulette Road is the first of the Casino Park tracks. It takes place over a roulette table where the road has two split paths, and the obstacles are casino chips, which make the player spin out when touched.

---

The Seaside Hill tracks have the following themes:
  • Casino Park - Sonic Heroes (default)
  • Bingo Highway - Sonic Heroes (Buy for 3000 Sega Miles)
  • Be Cool, Be Wild, and Be Groovy - Sonic Adventure (Buy for 5500 Sega Miles)
  • Back 2 Back - Sonic Rush (Buy for 4500 Sega Miles)
  • Super Sonic Racing - Sonic R (Buy for 3500 Sega Miles)

---

Fun facts:
  • The first track, Roulette Road, reappeared in the game's sequel, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, as part of the Classic Cup. All three tracks would later appear in Team Sonic Racing, but with a few modifications.
  • The announcer calls Roulette Road the "Stardust Speedway", referencing the sixth zone of the same name from Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
  • In the Wii version of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, the Queen cards that have Amy Rose's head on it is replaced with a DeviantART user's fan art of Sonia the Hedgehog, a character from the TV series Sonic Underground. Due to a lack of an updating software system for the Wii, the fan art was left in.
Tracks (Sonic the Hedgehog - Final Fortress)
The last set of Sonic the Hedgehog tracks is Final Fortress. Like the name implies, it is based on the final Sonic Heroes zone of the same name. The opening theme is "Throw it All Away", Shadow the Hedgehog's theme song from Sonic Adventure 2, while the "Race finish" theme is "Groove Rush #5" from Sonic Rush, which plays after completing the Extra zone Exception.
Tracks (Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg)
"Blizzard Castle is a frozen area built around a volcano. Race on the icy battlements, through the castle gates and onto curving wooden bridges. Watch out for the crows, who will try and make you crash." ~ In-game description for Blizzard Castle

"Dino Mountain is a perilous course, taking place around and even inside a volcano. There are pools of deadly lava to avoid and an ancient wooden path through the heart of the volcano, suspended at dizzying heights" ~ In-game description for Dino Mountain

Blizzard Castle and Dino Mountain are both areas from Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. The opening theme for these tracks is "Chant This Charm", the opening theme for the game while the "Race finish" theme is the abridged version of "Thanks for the Peaceful Today".

Icicle Valley is the second track of the Chao Cup and the second track overall.

This course is relatively simple. You start on the battlements of the castle then drive your way through a snowy valley. Just after the first jump, you encounter the icy road, where handling becomes a bit looser. You will then drive through a cave leading to a jump on the battlement. Watch out for the giant eggs, though, as touching one will make you spin out.

While racing on the course, be on the lookout for the crows as they bounce back and forth. After the starting line, there is a cave section you can enter behind two large arrow signs to cut across the jump and to the icy portion of the course.

---

Rampart Road is the first track of the Egg Cup and the ninth course overall.

Unlike Icicle Valley, you race across the battlements of the castle and over wooden bridges. There are piles of snow on the side of the road that slow you down. Near the windmill are chutes that launch giant eggs.

When you reach the windmill, you will encounter a fork-in-the-road where you can either continue down the battlement and onto a curving wooden bridge followed by another battlement, or you can take the wooden bridge behind the two left arrow signs. After taking your selected path, you'll come to the courtyard leading back to the start.

After the second lap starts, crows will appear in the courtyard, so be careful where you land after jumping off either the battlement or the bridge.

---

Lava Lair is the second track of the Monkey Cup and the twenty-second track overall.

Unlike Icicle Valley and Rampart Road, Lava Lair takes place on the side of a volcano. You start by driving along the outside, going over two jumps leading into the volcano. Inside, you'll go down a steep road, then jump towards three platforms and drive up a winding wooden bridge. Watch out for the fireballs (unless you're boosting, in which you'll just plow through them).

After the wooden bridge, you will arrive at the top of the volcano and go down a steep wall where you have to stay on the rock, as going into the lava will slow you down and make you respawn after a few seconds. At the bottom, you'll drive through two turns and back to the start.

The Billy Hatcher tracks have the following themes:
  • Tumbling Xylophone (default)
  • Bossa Nova of Briny Air (Unlock for 2500 Sega Miles)
  • A Jack-in-the-Box! (Unlock for 3000 Sega Miles)

Tracks (Samba de Amigo - Carnival Town)
"Carnival Town is the area where the party is never over! Racing takes place on the winding roads through the streets of the town, on long, wooden bridges and even over the rooftops and through the bell tower, all decked out in colorful bunting. Be careful not to fall off!" ~ In-game description for Carnival Town.

Carnival Town is the main setting for the Samba de Amigo game. For background information, Samba de Amigo is a rhythm arcade game released in Japan on December 21, 1999, and in North America on March 29, 2000. Later that same year, it received a home port that was also released overseas and the Japanese-exclusive Ver. 2000. Samba de Amigo was re-released for the Wii all regions in 2008. Despite the word "samba" being in the name, Samba de Amigo uses primarily Latin music.

Now for the tracks: The tracks in the Samba de Amigo lineup take place in Carnival Town. As indicated in the description, Carnival Town is the hometown of Amigo and his friends where they have parties every day. Everyone and everything is dancing along to the music.

The intro theme for these tracks is the title screen theme from Samba de Amigo while the ending theme is "Party Select", also from Samba de Amigo.

---

Sunshine Tour is the first track in the Samba de Amigo series, the fourth track in the game, and the last track in the Chao Cup. It takes place in three locations: Samba Town, Samba Concert, and Samba Wrestling.

The track itself is highly simple. You start in the Samba Town area, where you make two U-turns then enter a tunnel with Amigo's head in the background. In the Samba Concert area, you make a complete loop on a downward slope then enter another tunnel with Amiga's (Amigo's sister) head in the background. In the Samba Wrestling area, you drive around a wrestling ring then enter another tunnel with Linda's head in the background. You'll end up back in Samba Town and complete the lap.

The track, despite its easy difficulty, has some obstacles, all of which are easy to avoid. In the Samba Town, there are pots that slow you down if you run into them. In the Samba Concert area, there are large star-shaped balloons that fly up and down in the middle of the track. If you run into one, the balloon will pop and you'll spin out.

---

Jump Parade is the second track in the Samba de Amigo tracks, the third track in the Egg Cup, and the eleventh track in the game overall. It takes place on a series of high-rise buildings with ramps that lead from one building to the other, giving you the opportunity to perform a trick.

You start off in front of two cutouts: Amigo on the left and Amiga on the right. You proceed through the track, jumping off ramps and drops along the way. Halfway through, you'll find star balloons floating between the bridges. Just like Sunshine Tour, if you run into one, you'll lose both your speed and air momentum. Just past this part, you'll make another U-turn, then go down a straight with a ramp leading into the bell tower.

Once you land, turn right, then left to complete the lap.

---

Rocky-Coaster is the third of the Samba de Amigo tracks, the final track in the Samba Cup, and the twentieth track in the game overall. It takes place on a lengthy roller coaster where players go inside a Day of the Dead-styled skeleton then ride down a waterslide where there will be amplifiers that try to blow players off the track.

You start at the base of the coaster where you'll first encounter a slope leading to the left. Just after turning, you'll then enter a tunnel with Halloween decorations. Be careful in this part, as there are giant axes and hanging spiders that will slow you down. Outside the tunnel, you'll encounter a straightaway with two dips. While you perform tricks, watch out for the star-shaped balloons, as they will interrupt you.

Past that point, you'll drive up a hill through a decoration that resembles Amiga's helmet. This is where you'll ride down the waterslide. Not only do you have less traction, you also have to watch our for the amplifiers that blast music to blow you off course. After the waterslide, you'll be back at the base of the coaster.

Tracks (Super Monkey Ball)
"Set in the treetops of Jumble Jungle, this location is comprised of lush greenery, huge vines and some dangerous drops. Monkey Balls roll around, cheered on by the monkeys who inhabit this jungle paradise." ~ Jumble Jungle description

"Carved from the very rock, there's no time for sightseeing on this ancient course. Huge stone gears grind away as you race through stone buildings as old as time itself." ~ Detritus Desert description

"Starting with a huge jump onto a target, boardwalks on the ocean surface give way to a difficult climb up to a huge airborne galleon complete with cannons. Take care or you'll hit a Monkey Ball or banana!" ~ Monkey Target description

The Super Monkey Ball tracks, unlike the other tracks except for those in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, take place in various locations, all of which are based on Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz which was, at the time, the current installment in the Super Monkey Ball series. The opening theme is an excerpt of the title screen theme from Super Monkey Ball, released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001, and the closing theme is "World Clear!" from Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz

Unlike most tracks, the courses in the Super Monkey Ball lineup consist predominantly of 45- to 90-degree turns, some of which come up one after the other, so it's best to stay on your toes as you make your way through.

---

Treetops, the first of the SMB tracks, is the eighth course in the game and the final course in the Graffiti Cup. As noted in the description above, it takes place in the trees of Jumble Jungle.

The track, while relatively easy, has you turning and drifting immediately after some straights. On the way back to the start, you'll encounter a fork in the road, and if you're fast enough, you can use the ramp leading to it to skip the section entirely.

As you race on Treetops, watch out for falling banana peels and Monkey Balls. While the former falls in place repeatedly, the latter moves back and forth, damaging any racers that touch it.

---

Sandy Drifts, the second of the SMB tracks, is the fifteenth course in the game and the third track of the Horror Cup. Based on Detritus Desert, it takes place in the middle of a canyon with ruin-like structures.

You begin with a series of steps in front of you. Depending on your character's handling, it can be easy or tricky to get down them. Once you're past the first section, you will then enter a more open area. Follow the signs, then jump across the chasm to the other side. Once you land, immediately drift left, then left again and you'll go down a bridge. After making a right and left, you'll then come to a split road. They both have items, but also Monkey Balls.

Just past this section is a ramp littered with speed panels to help you jump across the chasm to the bridge. Past this point are a few more steps. At the end, turn left to complete the lap.

---

Monkey Target, the last of the SMB tracks, is the 23rd course in the game and the third track of the Monkey Cup. Based on the Super Monkey Ball party game of the same name, it takes place at a vast ocean with the namesake targets and sea animals.

  • Manual Rocket: A rocket that homes in on opponents both in front of and behind the user. Its triple variant attacks three drivers.

  • Energy Shield: A barrier that shields the player from one attack. It disappears immediately if the player uses another item.

  • Mine: A cone-shaped bomb that is used to slow down oncoming opponents or blow up on their own after a period of time. The triple variant places all three Mines perpendicular to the front of the player's vehicle.

  • K.O. Glove: A spring-activated boxing glove that bounces off the walls to take down unsuspecting drivers. Its triple variant can be fired in three different angles, the middle one going straight and the other two at 30 degrees.

MISSION 42: Monkey Trouble! (Score Gates)

A majority of them are 10-point gates, which are on the ground and ramps while those in the air contain 50 points. Start by going up the ramp in front of you. After passing the second gate, turn left and jump off the ramp into a 50-point gate.

When you land, turn left and go down the ramp, passing the 10-point gates along the way. While on the grass, turn left and drive through the 10-point gates across from each other. Behind the second gate are two ramps with a 50-point gate in the air and a 10-point gate on the ground. Jump off the ramp and while in the air, nudge left to find a 10-point gate on the grass. Drive straight through it and when you reach the second 10-point gate across it, turn left to go up the ramp. Turn left again, jump off the ramp, and pass the other 50-point gate. Like before, turn left, pass through the 10-point gates as you go down the ramp.
