Guild Wars 2 only uses 3 CPU cores to 50% or more, and spreads the rest across the remaining cores as highly threaded but light workload. I am capturing with AMD Crimson ReLive, 1080p, 60FPS, 50MB.  This has a minimal performance hit on GPU so the FPS you see in the video is a fairly accurate representation of in-game performance.

So...is Ryzen bad for gaming? You be the judge.

CPU: R7 1700 4.0GHz OC @ 1.425v MAX, 3.96GHz @ 1.368v 24x7
Cooling: 480mmx60mm copper radiator
RAM: 16GB of DDR4 3200 @ 3200
MoBo: ASUS Crosshair VI Hero
GPU: R9 Fury Nitro @ stock, undervolted, custom fan curve

Overall rendering load for Frozen Maw is high to very high for GW2.

Personal Observation: Frozen Maw is a little slow at first but gets much smoother once all the rendering data is loaded to system and GPU RAM. You can see the sudden performance bump around 1:10 and I have noted it in the video with a text overlay.
