Installation
  • Install Visual Studio Code[code.visualstudio.com]
  • Search "pizzafox.exa-syntax-highlighting" in the marketplace tab in Visual Studio Code
  • Click install, then reload
Usage
  • Open your code from the game in Visual Studio Code (you can copy paste from and to the game)
  • Save file with extension ".exa" or ".exapunks"

Would love to see this for Notepad++.
Installing VS just for syntax highlighting is kinda overkill.
But I still appreciate the effort.

Figured it out! Apparently there is a limit to line length. My comments were too big!

@Wolf the variables are supposed to be left white (or whatever your default color for your theme).

Variable highlighting doesn't appear to work. When I type in "COPY X F", the "COPY" is highlighted but "X" and "F" remain white.

So far the in game IDE has worked well but perhaps as the solutions get bigger this will be useful. Thank you!
