Metin2 farming guide

A few methods to do yang on metin2 offcial servers.

I think the title of the post says everything

First of all if you're a newbie (hard to believe since this game appeared in 2004 or so ) you need to know everything there is to know about the game , so let's say you play metin2.ro ( wich I play ) go on www.wiki.metin2.ro ( each server has theyr own wiki page ) where you can learn the drop of an specific iteam ( where it drops , higher chance of drop , etc...)

The easy way is farming , but what ? well there are a few methods in wich you can farm objects that have some value depends on the serves ( not only for officials ),here are a few :

• Farming "metin stones"
  ( wich drops book of competens for upgrading your skills from M skills to G skills , soul stone from G skills to P skills , haste stone for speed usualy +3 or +4 is selling good wich gives you speed , and iteam ...usually crapy iteams,but sometimes you get iteams with HP or a fan with INT+12 wich is also selling good )
  
  
• Doing runs
  APE DANGEOUN
  It comes in 3 stages, enterence is free, for the bosses they drop a box ( in wich you can drop soul stone, bless...an iteam helping you upgrading easyer without destroying your iteam)
  
  For low lvl is kinda hard , but there is a so called ape doungeun where in the boos room the drop is bigger when there is an event , so let's say it's moonlight event ...boxes wich gives you iteam shop iteams wich normally you pay with real money converted in dragon coins .
  
  DEMON TOWER
  Besides drops from boses wich is not so diferent , still a box and some iteam wich could help you , on the 7 floor of this dangeon it will appear a blacksmith wich does not ask for upgrading materials ( only if you kill the mobs first and the boss the last )
  This helps you alot since there will be iteams who ask kinda expensive upgrading materials hard to get .
  
  Alot more but we are here to make money since we are begginers , you'll lern more while you lvl up.
  
  
• Mining / Fishing
  Once you get to lvl 30 you can mine/fishing with an iteam easy to get from an NPC
  Usually people are to competitve making lvl or farming stone to do that so you'll be good , or if you want to change the pace for a bit .
  
  
• FMS/RIB/PFN/others
  There are some popular iteam wich can be upgraded by only using yang ( game currency ) wich they come with avarage , helps you give more dmg ( on duels with other players or monsters )
  They can be found at Brutal Archer / Brutal Specialist / or Imha ...
  How to get them easy ? well you need to be lvl 20-30 the less the better , it's better if you have a thief glove wich gives you 50% chance drop or iteam with % drop bonus
  
  
• Leveling
  It may sound stupid but making lvl faster is not a bad ideea ...you can make lvl with crapy iteam +5/6 ( once you are 40 you get iteams +5/6 of that lvl , once you're 50 ..iteams +5/6 of that lvl, you get it )
  Let's say the sv you started ( an official one is a better example ), the bigger you are the less players wich can farm the same things/maps are fewer
  For example I went 75 in a few mhounts ( the sv is not so new , but still alot of players ramain lvl 35/45 to farm in specific maps like map2/Orc Valley ) and at "metin stones" lvl 85/90 you can drop thief gloves / exp rings / blessing scrols , the blessing scroll is kinda expenisive ...you can make easy money with it or use it for your iteam but the thief gloves and exp rings are not tratable on official servers . That's not a problem since player come with ideeas , you pay a higher lvl player do drop the thief gloves / exp ring , pay him for it , and when the name above the iteam disapear you can take it .
  But if you made lvl and still want to use those iteam you can go to storekeeper , and take it with an other character , usualy using it for farming map1 with thiefs gloves just for books .
  Depending on the market you can sell those books , easy farming with a low character on the same acount .
  
  
• Trading
  If you're lazy you don't even need to know those things , you all need to lern the pricesc of iteams , lets just say you buy a good armour +9 with good stones ( +4 because it's more expensive ) preferable lvl 34 or 42 ( cuz more player stay 35 / 45 to farm until they make skills lvl to P ) for 50kk ( milions , 1k= 1.000 ) and it's value is much more but since you watch the market dayly you know the real price usualy for the example i give it to you ( or on Dragon sv of metin2.ro ) is around 100kk you can sell it after with a profit
  
  
• Upgrade materials
  People they usually do not pick up from the ground everything since they think they do not need it.
  For example ork talismans/unkown talisman/etc ( more upgrading materials www.wiki.metin2.ro for romanian official server ) they only go for what's more expensive like "piece of gem / ork tooth/Demon kepsake/ice glob without + " because they are need it to a quest wich gives you permanent status points like defance/hp/etc once you finished.
  Once you gathered 50 or more ork talisman/unkown talisman/snake tail/scorpion tail/etc you can sell it , usualy high lvl player tend to make low lvl iteam +9 to sell it for alot of yang .
  You can sell x2 scorpion tail for 200k ( depends on how it costs on the server ) or the hole pack ( 50/100/200 ) for they price (50 will cost 50x200k=1kk/etc.
  If you still want to play while you're seeling you can make another account ( preferable to the blue town strict for selling while you play,opening 2 games in the same time)
