How to Grass Slide

This is a short guide to show you how to use the Grass Slide trick in Trackmania 2 Stadium

Introduction

Ok, so just what is a Grass Slide? Well, its when you slide on the grass sideways while keeping your speed up. It's a pretty cool technique.

Note that it will only work on the grass in Trackmania 2 Stadium, Trackmania Nations Forever, or in the Stadium environment in Trackmania United.

How to Grass Slide

I'm sure you do donuts (burnouts) when you're waiting for the last few seconds of the race to count down. It's basically the same idea for a Grass Slide. You simply hold down your accelerator while turning the direction you want, while holding the brake. This works best if you can get some time in the air to turn your vehicle 60-90 degrees in either direction before you land. It's also possible to do it by just driving straight onto the grass, but it doesn't work as well.

Conclusion

This technique will come in handy when you're playing on some LOL servers. You will probably come across tracks that require you to take hairpin turns on the grass to get to the finish.

Of course I know it's possible on a lot of other surfaces. Grass slides in stadium are the most popular, though, and it's still relavent in TM2 Stadium - the others are not.

There are tons of such tutorials, grassslide is not only possible on grass, it's also possible on any flat element such as dirt or road.Moreover, it's possible on some united environments, bay,island or coast for instance.Be educated.Just my words.
