Understanding The Mechanics And The Tests Which Reveal These Mechanics:
Scenario 1:
Teleporter 1: 8 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 2: 5 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 3: 9 Wire Away from Switch

What happens when player stands on teleporter 1 and activates the switch?
Nothing.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 2 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 3.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 3 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 2.

Scenario 2:
Teleporter 1: 10 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 2: 5 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 3: 9 Wire Away from Switch

What happens when player stands on teleporter 1 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 2.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 2 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 1.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 3 and activates the switch?
Nothing.

Scenario 3:
Teleporter 1: 8 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 2: 10 Wire Away from Switch
Teleporter 3: 11 Wire Away from Switch

What happens when player stands on teleporter 1 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 3.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 2 and activates the switch?
Nothing.
What happens when player stands on teleporter 3 and activates the switch?
Player is teleported to teleporter 1.

Conclusion:
The switch activates the closest teleporter and the game measures how close a teleporter is by counting wire.
The switch activates the furthest teleporter and the game measures how close a teleporter is by counting wire.

This means if we had 8 teleporters all connected through the same wire, and 1 teleporter had a longer wire than all other teleporters. Then all other teleporters would lead to that 1 teleporter.
How To Build This:
1. Place teleporters and platforms like this:

2. Place walls like this:

3. Remove platforms like this:

4. Place buttons like this:

5. Place red wire for each teleporter console like this:

6. Place blue wire for each teleporter console like this:

7. Place green wire for each teleporter console like this:

8. Place yellow wire for each teleporter console like this:

9. Place a red, green, blue and yellow wire connecting each teleporter like this:

10. Extend the unique wire from each unique teleporter like this:
(The idea behind this is that the extended red wire on the top row forces all other buttons connected to that same red wire to teleport to this top teleporter, this same logic applies to all 7 other teleporters)

11. Remove the unique wire which corresponds with the unique teleporter from each teleporter button like this:
(wires that have been removed are marked with a white circle on the image)

12. Extended wire connects at the intersections here, these wires need to be removed.
Remove it like this:
(wires that have been removed are marked with a white circle on the image)

Also, if you change the design a little, you can have 24 destinations in one place (Three teleporters on top of each other with a block in between each, one at surface level, one just below ground, and one just above ground disabled with actuators, exploiting the fact that you don't need to be entirely within the teleporter area and that you can use actuators on teleporters)

24 Possible Teleport Locations with Left, 40 Possible Teleport Locations with Right.

@orangepeel33, wow I tested out what you said, and you are 100% correct, with 1 triple layer of teleporters.

I've tested a bit more and it's actually possible to get 40 teleports with an addition of 2x (three teleporters ontop of eachother one at surface level, one just below ground, and one just above ground disabled with actuators), and the player standing in the middle of the 2x three teleporters.

Only problem with the 40 teleports one is there isn't space for the switches. But for the 24 Possible Teleports There is space for the switches, I'm very glad you mentioned that, you opened my eyes up to something.

(I'm gonna post some screenshots)

24 Teleports, 24 Switches in range of teleporter.

32 Teleports, 32 Switches in range of teleporter.

@methodzz I changed the instructions to make them much more clear based on what I observed to be unclear, but I could probably make a more decisive conclusion on what was unclear if I see exactly what you did.

@methodzz
It still works, but I think the instructions are a bit unclear.

@$torm You can under these conditions:
1. Make a section in the Guide Index saying "English Version" then link this guide.
2. Add me as a contributer to the guide.

@Corruption, Hmm... Can I translate this guide to Russian?
this is a pretty good guide, but Russian readers and players will not be able to learn about the subtleties of this game, especially if they do not know English. I can't translate this guide without your permission.

Well, thanks for the screenshots, since I had no idea how to set up the switches
