Occident, Market Layout

So first of all a quick disclaimer: Even though these are all my designs, they were "influenced" by the following youtuber, on whose designs mine were based, 'cuz coming up with something new and original is really hard (I contributed somehing myself (dude trust me)).
So, Phil Swift here for City Layouts! The super-storng waterproof layout (no guarantees). These city layouts are no ordinary layouts! Whats completely AMAZING abvout these designs is the fact that they enable yout to procedurally expand your city. They're so strong, they even work underwater (Deep Ocean Addon required)!
Believe me when I say that I've tried out all the housing solutions there are, and none have been able to satisfy my needs. They're all either too small, too expensive and you can't indefinitely and proceduraly expand them. All of these problems just go away with this new and completely revolutionary layout!

Building colors:

And in case you're too stupid to figure it out on your own, here's an explaination of all the colors:

• white: Marketplace
  
• brown: Peasant's House
  
• blue: Chapel/Church
  
• yellow: Tavern
  
• purple: Debtor's Prison
  
• red: Firestation
  
• orange: Carpenter
  
• green: Surgery
  
• light brown: Alms House

Same goes for all the following guides, obviously, untill stated otherwise.

Earlygame

This layout is designed for the early game and can only get you to citizens. With this, every possible space is occupied by a house.
And just to prove how well it works, I SAWED THIS BOAT IN HALF, and fixed it with this amazing layout. And the inside is completely dry! Yee-doggy!:

Mid- and Lategame

Now this one is the all-powerfull, magnificent finished build. I could tell you how much it costs, but I couldn't be bothered to. You got all 'dem Firestations and stuff, so if you turned fire off you can leave'em out. Just seize your poor inhabitant's houses and replace them as you go along, and everything will be fine. Imagine everything you can do with the power of optimized city layouts! And if you wanna be real smart, you can alternate churches and cahpels in a cessborad-style pattern for extra efficiency. Yummy!
Now I'm sure you noticed that I put a marketplace there in the middle. Actually, you don't have to do that. you can easily build all the hice (plural of house obviously) witchout it. In fact, you can put anything you want in there, like decorative buildings or a keep.
And I'll say it again, just in case your walnut sized brain already lost it: This layout is the best. It's the best layout in the history of layout. We've got the best layouts. Make Anno great again. But all jokes aside, this, and in fact all the other layouts you will find in this guide are indefinately expandable.

Occident, Cathedral Layout

Now, as a limited offer, you can also aquire your hyper-efficient layout with an Imperial Cathedral! You need 3500 Nobles to finish it, it cost you a huge ammount of money and stuff. But thou shan't be dissapointed! For 'tis a magnificent sight to behold.
Boasting a HUUUGE area of influence it offers space for up to 340 hice! How awesome is that? Look how cool it is. I'ts really easy and only takes a few minats. Boom. So leccheckdisout! Boom!
It's great I promise.
And if you're a real crazy bastard, a proper mad ♥♥♥♥ and you've got tons of stuff and money to spare. you can join multiple cathedrals. How cool is that? Just have fun building all those monuments.
Now I know she ain't pretty, but she's got it where it counts and you gotta piss with the ♥♥♥♥ you got. If all you wanted was to build a pretty little romantic settlement, then you came to the wrong house fool! Turn back now, for there will be no turning back later. This super-efficient hood ain't for everybody, especially not the faint hearted.
So yeah, that's pretty much it. Regarding stuff like carpenters and firestations and all that garbage, just sprinkle those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inbetween as needed.

Orient, Market Layout

Aha! You didn't think this was over yet, did'cha? Oh NononO! Bit Co NEEEEEEEEECT! Additionally to our occidental layouts, you get another set of layout completely FREEEEE! Now isn't that a bargain? Now it's real simple, aight? Works just as well as the occidental one, and even smells and tastes the same. And it's a lot simpler too!
The only buildings you'll need are the Bathing house and the Mosque, here in turquoise and blue. Place other public buildings at will. Again, this design is completely modular and amazing in general.

Orient, Sultan's Mosque Layout

So at this point I'm not even gonna pretend anymore (it's 3 in the morning btw). It was a lot of work to make this guide and to come up with something that seems funny. And right now I can't think of anything that's not depressing. So without further adue, here's the layout for the Sultan's Mosque:



It's like with the occidental one. I think you can figure out the rest on your own.

Which doesn't work since the Mosque is smaller.
