Possible Fixes To Your Problems (Warp Portal, PhysX, Kafra Cash, Lag, etc)

Stuck on "Checking Warp Portal" or you are forced to register?

This is for the people who are stuck on "Checking Warp Portal" or they already have a Warp Portal account but are forced to register because of the launcher.

If you don't trust me at all (which is perfectly fine), you can compile it for yourself so you know that no malicious code is inside. Get the source code on GitHub HERE[github.com].

Having problems with the fix? Here's a solution by that space cadet!.
- Delete WP1.bak and try again.

Don't know where to register?

You register at http://playragnarok2.com/.

The game is lagging?

This isn't guaranteed to always work but you can add the Ragnarok Online 2 folder to your antivirus' exception list. That helped me a bit and lessened the lag.

Getting "InternetOpenUrl Error"? "The system cannot find the file specified."?

Open up your Internet Explorer and make sure that it is not set to Offline Mode.

Cannot buy cash credits via Steam? Nothing happens when you click "Charge Kafra Cash"?

Make sure that the Steam in-game overlay is enabled. Also make sure that the individual setting for Steam Community in-game is enabled for Ragnarok Online 2.

Are you stuck on a certain spot?

Use the Butterfly Wing item. It will warp you back to your last save point. If you don't have any, try to get a buddy on the same area as you to trade you some. If all else fails, send a support ticket[support.warpportal.com].

PhysX needed by the game?

There is a PhysX installer included in the game folder. Install that and see if the problem is fixed. If ever it says you already have the latest version but you're still having problems, uninstall the current PhysX and instal the one included with the package.

Quests missing on the right side?

Press L to view all your ongoing quests and put a checkmark on the ones you want to show on the right side.

You forgot your PIN number?

Send a ticket to help support[support.warpportal.com] and include as much information as you can give to them so they can verify that it is indeed your account.

Is the server down?

Failing to update with "error: Faield update patch"?

Go to the Ragnarok Online 2 folder and directly open RO2Client.exe.

Did you happen to kill a boss prematurely before taking the quest and are stuck?

Send a ticket to help support[support.warpportal.com].. Do it. OR, you can try and reset your dungeons by click Reset Dungeons on the left side of your mini map.

Screen is black?

Try to disable the Advanced Shadows from the settings and / or turning the shadow quality all the way down.

If you can't see it in-game, go to your Ragnarok Online 2 folder and look for RO2_Options.ini. Open it with notepad and set SHADOW and ADVANCEDSHADOW to 0.

Falling through the world or getting stuck?

As suggested by Springheeled Jack, you can solve this by asking a friend or another player to add you to their party and then create a dungeon that will allow you to escape by warping to join them in the dungeon.
