JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on Fightcade

I keep on having to send the same links to friends. This guide is for making it easier to get JoJo's Bizarre Adventure on Fightcade set up. I've included links to:

1. The Fightcade site[www.fightcade.com], where you can set up a Fightcade account and download Fightcade.
   
   
2. A Dropbox link for the jojoban[www.dropbox.com] ROM.

Introduction

No need for an introduction, just play the game.

TL;DR -

1. Make a Fightcade account.
   
2. Download the Fightcade client.
   
3. Download the JJBA: HftF ROM
   
4. Extract the Fightcade zip, but not the ROM zip.
   
5. Put the JoJo ROM in the ROMs folder.
   
6. Open the Fightcade.exe

You got to make an account on Fightcade to fight with other people. Once you're there, you also got to download the Fightcade client.

It was REALLY hard for me to find a working ROM for this game on the internet, and I still can't find where I got it from originally. Instead of trying to find the ROM online again, I'm giving a Dropbox link to my ROM.

Once you've downloaded everything you need, you can advance to the Setup Section.

Setup

I've made a short video that quickly shows how to setup Fightcade and the ROM. I'm using the same files I gave in the Links section so you can follow step by step.

In this video, I also use a thing called Winrar.

In my opinion, it made this a lot easier, but I'm sure there are other ways to do the same thing.

Do not rename the ROM. Fightcade will not read it if you change the name.

So basically, all you need to do is Extract the Fightcade zip and put the "jojoban.zip" in the "ROMs" folder.

After Setup

Once you've followed all the Setup steps, you're all done, but I'll explain how to actually get into a game.

In Fightcade, there are a lot of games other than Jojo. On the left, it displays all the games Fightcade has. You could just scroll through and find JoJo, but there's an option that makes things easier.

Go to "Settings", then click "Hide Games with Missing ROMs".
Click on "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure"
On the right, you'll see the list of people you can fight.
Either click on the blue human looking icon next to them, or type "/challenge THEIRNAME".

to stop time as DIO, you input: forward, heavy, light, forward, stand
to do it as Jotaro, you do: forward, heavy, middle, forward, stand
not sure about shadow DIO.

whenever i extract fightcade the normal file appears for a second and goes away. it asks if i want to replace the file.

Make sure to watch the video I added if you don't know what to do. It's a bit hard to help you when I don't exactly know what "nothing is popping up" means, but I'll give some suggestions though. Check which one you could've done wrong.

• You put the "The ROM is inside" zip in the ROMs folder and not the "jojoban" zip.
• You renamed the "jojoban" zip.
• You have it set up right, but you can't find the game in the Fightcade menu. Read the "After Setup" section and see if it helps you find it.
