[1.0] Deep Ore Identifier

Allows for easy identification of deep ores.

When using the Ground Penetrating Scanner, mouse over highlighted ore veins to identify their type.

Ahh well, was just a little wishful thinking on my part.
Hope you get your hands back on some of that spare time again someday, whatever you choose to do with it.

Thanks for asking, but unfortunately I don't have time for modding nowadays...

Would you by any chance consider looking into support for the "Ground Scanner Redesign" mod?
While the two do function fine together, this mod doesn't identify the 'surface/mountain' ores discovered & displayed by GSR, while my modding understanding is pretty limited it does seem like a simple sort of patch.

Cheers either way for the amazing QoL mod Dingo!

is it possible at all to optionally colour the ore deposits by what they are at all? Plasteel blue, Gold yellow etc.

Works perfectly for me, and thank you very much. While it can be seen as a tiny bit of a cheat, it's just such a hassle to have to move drills around (and remember to remove the home zone after you've checked an area) and try to keep track in your mind of what is where. Great QOL mod.

No such mods. I am trying to fiddle around with the addon folders I missed in the steam directories to see if I can get rid of this somehow. Thanks for the info anyway it will help me narrow down the issue :)

That error is coming from the vanilla code. If you have mods that add ores I would start from there.

Managed to output an error log via development mode

I've made sure core loads first and then HugsLib and then Deep Ore Identifier. Weird thing is the ore overlays worked fine a day or two ago. I don't get it. I also have issues showing roofs from time to time that is intermittently ocurring and disappearing. I totally removed all traces of Rimworld from my computer and reinstalled and loaded up my savegames again and the issue still persists on this particular playthrough but not if I start a new game. Even with all mods off I still can't see the zones so I am guessing my saves are corrupted in some way.
