Raiden Legacy FPS/Lag FIX

A fix for the Steam Edition of Raiden Legacy which fixes FPS/Lag because DotEmu couldn't be bothered.

Intro

The steam version of Raiden Legacy is a mess, and DotEmu just does not care. Surprisingly their GOG and smartphone versions are using a completely different wrapper/emulator which actually does not produce copious amounts of lag, in both the menus and the games, and almost laughable FPS performance in the games themselves. Why did DotEmu decide to make a new wrapper for steam and not continue using the one that actually works remains a mystery, but all the assets are there so they just needed to be re-enabled and some files changed and voila - the old launcher is back and the lag is (mostly) gone.

The Fix for the FPS/LAG

The abysmal performance of the Steam version of Raiden Legacy is finally fixed, but in all honesty, there is still some little stutter in Raiden Fighters Jet but it is a GIGANTIC far cry from the laughable lag of the Steam version in both the menus and games, also the game apparently now saves the video settings like it should, so another problem solved. What I did was restore the gog/android wrapper/emulator which assets were already there since that one is way better.

Just unpack the files and replace them in your Raiden Legacy folder

Pros and Cons of the new FIX

PROs
- It's finally lag free and the FPS is consistent (Yaay!)
- You can finally enjoy (what was supposed to be) one of the greatest SHMUP compilations ever on Steam!
CONs
- you would have to change the original/official files
- the menus look different (like Gog/smartphone versions) and you cannot use the gamepad in the menus themselves anymore, only in the games.
- achievements, online leaderboards and online multiplayer do not work

Hi, I tested, yeah, I went a little further than usual, well I had no problem with the original from steam, it's true the fps seemed to be a too fast, but I don't like having to use the mouse in the menu, thanks anyway.

I was hoping this might make the games at least run but alas, my money on the game is wasted. Screen goes black then game disappears, leaving icon in task bar. Cycle repeats if you click on said icon.

these games are great and the fix does definitely improve FPS! they added a rapid fire button to the steam version at some point and we lose that feature using the fix, but i'd take improved gameplay with a little bit of button mashing lol
