⭐ Dispersion Pistol Upgrade Locations

The Dispersion Pistol is the first weapon you get in the game and can be upgraded four times. After the fourth upgrade, you'll simply get its ammo fully replenished. This is a guide about the upgrade locations.

Single-player

1. Vortex Rikers. After the Med Lab, in one of the main rooms, you'll find the Dispersion Pistol
   
2. Rrajigar Mine. In a large room with lava and collapsing wooden truss bridges, if you manage to defend the Nali, he'll open a cave with the very first upgrade
   
3. Terraniux. In the octagonal center of the greenhouse complex, use one of the lifts at the bottom to reach the top level, where the second upgrade awaits.
   
4. Temple of Vandora. Dive into the well by the square staircase and look for a hole in the wall. Follow the underwater tunnel and enter a cave to the right, situated just before the hole blocked by metal bars.
   
5. Na Pali Haven. Ascend the square staircase to the top floor of the farm building with Krall warriors and nearby Nali cows. The power-up is located three rooms before the switch that drops the wooden board.
   
6. Velora Pass. In plain sight, it wakens the Stone Titan.
   
7. Bluff Eversmoking. Activate the bell tower lift and drop below it onto a grille. The adjacent tunnel contains the power-up.

(Some of these are not available on the Hard difficulty level, such as the one in Na Pali Haven)

Multi-player

1. DmAriza. Near the Tarydium Waste, ground level.
   
2. DmCurse. Secret wall just behind Shield Belt.
   
3. DmHealPod. On the top level of the Main Hall.

Return to Na Pali

1. Spire Valley. In a Nali church on top of a box accessible by dropping down from the upper floor.
   
2. Velora Temple. In the final room, straight across from the elevator underneath a painting in clear view. Guarded by a Skaarj Lord.
   
3. Nagomi Passage (dawn). On top of the crate that held an armor the first time through. To get on top of crate use the awkward slope in the side of the mountain.
   
4. Watcher of the Skies. In clear view on top of one of the crates by a torch.

Actually, if you get a 5th upgrade it should give you a second Dispersion Pistol and start upgrading that. Basically it's dual-wielding two Dispersion pistols.

I'm currently doing a Godlike playthrough with the OldUnreal 227i patch, and the Dispersion Pistol powerup is present in Na Pali Haven. It's possible that the patch changes this from vanilla

If you're having trouble saving the Nali in Rrajigar Mine , you can just use the automag from the top of the first bridge and be done before the rockets get close.

The Dispersion Pistol Powerup in Na Pali Haven is available only on Easy and Medium difficulties. On Hard and beyond, there are only 5 powerups for whole campaign.
