Spring Overview
There aren't many hoops to jump through, but for some this season will be harder than others. If you are a newer player, and have had your world generate upon a Spring Start, I would highly recommend restarting, and having your world on a Autumn start. Here are things to look out for:

-Moose/Goose is the seasonal giant for Spring. It is neutral however, and will not spawn with the intent to damage the player, like Deerclops, Bearger and Dragonfly in DSRoG. It will spawn on the floor near ponds. It will nest, and lay an egg, containing 5 Mosslings.

-Rain and Thunderstorms are frequent in Spring, and if you aren't equiped you can find yourself in the middle of a problem that's very challenging to get out of.

-Frog Rain has a high chance of occuring at least once. Hostile Frogs will rain for a day.

-Rabbit Hole's collapse, taking one potential food source away for you for 20 days.

-Lureplants will start spawning in the natural world.
Moose/Goose
You don't technically have to deal with this. If it isn't blocking any major resource, you can leave it. Even if it is, you can run past it and wait for it to drop aggression.

Most players should kill the boss, and for those who attempt the Anserini Alces, you should probably read this:

Moose/Goose:
3000HP (RoG) / 6000HP (DS Together)
Does 75 damage per attack, and double to mobs.
Spawns 5 Moslings
Has a special attack (Honk), which forces the player to drop the item currently in their hand

Kiting:
Goes in for the first 2 hits and run out, when it honks focus on retrieving the weapon back, giving up a kiting cycle if need be.
I recommend doing this on Cobblestone Turf or a Path for the 1.25x movement speed boost.
If you are a more advanced player with a walking cane, alternating between a weapon of choice and cane will give you the time to do a 3rd hit per kite cycle, killing the boss a lot faster.

Drops:
*6 Large Meat
*2 Drumsticks
*3-6 Down Feathers
*Moose/Goose Figure Sketch

Mossling:
350HP (RoG) / 525HP (DS Together)
Does 50 damage per attack
Flees from combat unless its mother is slain
Enrages, giving it more attacks, and auto agro's onto the cause of the Goose's death.

Kiting:
I wouldn't kite these at all; either face tank or get something else to do it for you.
Suggestions:
Beefalo in Heat
Frog Rain
Followers
Hounds
Drops:
*1 Large Meat
*1 Drumstick
*2-3 Down Feathers

Rain and Thunderstorms
Rain:
The Eyebrella, made from the Deerclops Eyeball, is the best hat in the game, since it gives full water immunity, protection from lightning and doesn't use the tool slot. Only one of these can be made, so in multiplayer, Rain Hats are the next best thing, (Made from Moleworms). These also give immunity to lightning.

Lightning:
Even if you are safe from lightning via Rain Hat or Eyebrella, if lightning strikes a tree or twig, it will ignite it and start fire. For this reason alone, it is essential you build a lightning rod, multiple if you have to. You can never be too safe.
Frog Rain
There is a very high chance you will experience a Frog Rain in Spring. It is the exact same as normal rain, it just spawns a high amount of aggressive frogs. Use this to your advantage. Use a lureplant to farm the frogs for quick frog legs, or use the frogs as an army to attack the territorial Moose/Goose. They are excellent worker minions for the Mosslings too.

If you have already slain the feathered behemoth, go underground and wait for it to subside. If one frog agros you, DON'T hit it back. Frogs utilise a swarm AI, so it will cause all frogs on screen to target you.
Food
Food won't be an issue. Berries and Farms grow food faster during the rain, which you will experience a lot of during the season. If you're playing as Wigfrid, use the meat from the Moose/Goose to make meatballs. Avoid fighting Beefalo in heat. Rabbits are also scarce in Spring, since the only way to obtain one is by digging up the Collapsed Rabbit Hole, which also permenantly despawns the rabbit spawner. Tallbirds are effective food sources at this time.
