How To Install Black Ops Zombies Perish Map

This guide will teach you how to install Black Ops Zombies Perish Map and how to launch it and play with friends.

This is not a tutorial on how to complete the Easter Egg within the map; as I will be making a separate guide on how to do that.

Click on the link above and it will redirect you to Ugx-mods, where you will find the Black Ops Zombies Perish Map. Create an account with ugx mods as they do not allow the viewership of external links; so you must login in to see them.

Downloading the Mod

After you have created an account scroll down click on Installer Download file.

You will then be redirected to MEGA download where you will be able to download "PerishInstallerNew.exe" (the file is 1.07gb so please give it time to download depending on your internet connection).

Obtaining the installer

After the download has finished it will appear in your download’s folder on Windows.

Adding a Mods folder into Black Ops directory

Before running the installer go to your steam right click on Black Ops and select properties and select the tab called local files then click on browse local files. You will then end up in the directory of Black ops; please check if there is a folder called mods if not then please create one.

Running the installer

After that go back to the "PerishInstallerNew.exe" that you just downloaded and run it. Click on install this mod and proceed with the installation. Once the installation is complete hit finish.

Launching the Mod

Now on your desktop there will be an icon called "Launch Perish" double click the icon and it will begin to load Black ops 1. If done correctly you should see a mods tab on the TV. Click onto the mods tab and the perish mod should be installed.

Setting up a game and having fun

Now all you need to do is then either create a private match in order to play with friends (they must install the mod for it to work as well if you are going to play multiplayer) or you can start a solo game; there will be a new tab called custom zombies in there and perish will be in there.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this problem. As far as I know I haven't encountered that error before. If you've tried the auto installer and it doesn't work. Then try the manual installer as majority of people that has sorted it out

for me when I launch perish it says "Windows is searching for launcher_ldr.exe." and don't know what to do any help is appreciated

Download the newest version of game_mod from the website on that page, there will be a link below. Secondly click the big button that says manual and you it will download the zip file for mod. Make a mods folder in your black ops directory and extract the zip file there. Now extract the game_mod zip in the black ops directory folder and then once all thats done, run the BO_mods batch file.

If the installer isn't working, then try the manual one. See if that helps

Have you tried manually downloading it without the installer. Try that and see if it works!!!
