Fast Pollux Coin Grind

You guys want Frog Girl Achievement. But still hard stuck on farming Pollux Coins forever just to complete Sub Event: Budget Crisis? Then here's the the way to grind them all. (Contain Bad English, curse, joke and sarcasm. You had been warn!)

Last one for the Frog Girl

A lot of you might be hard stuck on Just Budget Crisis. One of the last Sub event you need just to do Akko last fight and watch her episode for this Achievement. But no worries, because here is the way to grind them.

Fun Fact

The Shopkeeper (Chumlee) at Roundabout. He will put the Pollux Coin in his store for sell. Right after you done this quest.
It's 10,000 per Coin. If you manage to timelap days and nights. Then get running to check his store before you start grinding

• Reloading save file in just only one day with out timelap doesn't change item cycle in the store
  
• He stay around 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (18:00)

Step 1: Set Game Difficulty

With higher Difficulty, there will be more mob spawn in the zone with more higher drop rate.
I highly recommend you do on

• Very Hard with high mob count and even better drop rate.
  
  
• Easy Slowest way you can grind, Lowest
  mob count and the lowest drop rate.
  
• Normal Less mob in the zone, less drop.
  
• Hard Reasonable drop, somewhere in the middle.
  
• Inferno More time consuming if your skill set are still weak. You're facing more Big monsters count in a single zone.

It's also good to mention that if the Quest fail, you received just exp and nothing back with you. So choose Difficulty as your Character & skill power that you're comfortable dealing with to make a smooth grind.

Step 2: Key Selection

Key Lv Recommend

• Lesser key of Pollux Lv.1

With higher level key, Mob share higher loot pool than just a Pollux Coin. It will make you get less Pollux Coin than you're supposed be on a single run.

Step 3: Character of Choices

Here's from highest to lowest base luck

• Lotte Drop Luck 15 (Base Luck 14)
  
• Akko Drop Luck: 8 (Base Luck 6)
  
• Sucy Drop Luck 7 (Base Luck 9 )
  
  
• Diana Drop Luck 7 (Base Luck 5)
  
• Constanze Drop Luck 7 (Base Luck 5)
  
• Jasminka Drop Luck 7 (Base Luck 4)
  
• Amanda Drop Luck 6 (Base Luck 3)

It is a good idea to pick Lotte and build her more Luck, with her the highest base Luck from all of the characters.

Step 4: Recommend Spell

There are a lot of powerful spell out there. So you don't need to use any of the Character Specific Spell, Signature Spell or Cut scene spell. With this way, you got less time wasted waiting for Cut scene to finish on every grinding.

Highly Recommend Spell

• Rapid Fire (Page 6: Erdanus) Barrage homing balls that's hit like a truck
  
  
• Judgment Rain (Page 5: Aquarius) Fast cast time aoe
  
  
  
  
• Gravity Blast (Page 5: Serpens) Fast cast large aoe line
  
  
  
  
• Meteor Crash (Page 6: Cetus) Obtain by max Flare of Spash (Page 5:Crater)

Utility Spell Recommend

• Icy Dawn (Page 5: Lupus) Fast cast large blob of ice, slow continues damage also work as a wall for a while
  
  
  
• Steel Wind (Page 5: Lyra) Force enemy to drop loot, really low damage
  
  
  
  
• Steel Wind (Page 5: Lyra) Pulls the enemy back in to the screen (some of them got knock off the screen very so often)

Tips & Tricks

• It's even Possible to get from No drop to 12 Pollux Coins on just one Run.
  
• Be sure to look out for Bags item that drop from mob. 95% of the times it contain your Pollux Coin.
  
• If Bags can drop off the screen near Door to the Next Zone. Be sure to just walk close to the wall and wait for a moment. The magnet will pull all of your stuffs for you, before process to the next zone.
  
• No need to expect much from Boss drop. They ain't drop Pollux Coin that often. Mostly just there're own loot pool, like Minotour horn, Raging bull horn or Lance stuff.

Playing this game 2023. I was struggling alot tonget polux coins. Saw a post of a dude saying they drop quicker with high luck characters+drop quantity badge+ level 1 polux key. I did this but bumped difficulty to very hard and started getting 20coins in a single run

Minor edit though. I actually managed to get 12 pollux coins in one ru. Lotte really is the greatest for this. Wonder what the theoretical limit for a run is.

Well, since we are on PC, using cheat engine to speed things up is a nice choice. The real hell awaits when you collect decorations.

The bigger key is so frustrating to do, you through so much levers that i don't want to do it

I'm sorry that i count remember very well then it start dropping in specific key.
Loot pool might be higher on big key but there still a chance to drop item from lesser key.
I recommend try with biggest Pollux key you got right now, set difficulty to hard or Very hard and bring high luck character to farm, for higher monster count + more drop rate

The most proficient character at the moment is Akko, level 81, with luck of 181. I'm going to try out again later, trying to level up Lotte to 70+
