Remember, latexs require biotic matter in order to live and reproduce. That obviously means there's no sex (As in MALE and FEMALE, not gender.), and the reason why do "male" and "female" dark latexes exists is because they're just replicating humanity.
Not to mention, just because Puro has more similar characteristics to a female Dark Latex doesn't necessarily prove he is INDEED female, that's an logical analogy. For example, female Dark Latexes have their tails curled UP in their sprites. Puro leaves his tail down. Female Dark Latexes have a relatively short hair that reaches their neck, Puro's hair reaches to almost his tail. Puro obviously lacks a chest like female Dark Latexes, so tell me how can Puro, a "failed sample" that is capable of speaking a human language, be female, despite the differences?
