Perfect Touch perk edits for Ordinator users

Those who use "Ordinator" the perk overhaul for Skyrim.

As I've seen, first-hand experience aswell, some are bothered by the changes made to the perk "Perfect Touch" in the Pickpocket skill tree. Well here's a quick and easy guide on how to remove the "Target must be sleeping" condition and edit the perk description aswell, and enjoy my amateur guide-creating skills.

TES5Edit, perk editing and saving

Basics on opening .esp files with TES5Edit can be found all over the internet, but I'll throw in the barebone basics. Open TES5Edit, it will load up a list containing all your .esp files, right click on the list and select "Select none".


Then simply search for "Ordinator" and select it and ONLY it, and press Ok.


Then, on the pane shown on the left side, a long list of tabs, you want to open the one titled "Perk".
Then you need to scroll down on the newly opened list until you find the perk you're looking for, "Trickster". Note, do NOT, touch anything else, or the core perk "Perfect touch" also found on the list, gods know what happens if you mess with those without prior knowledge of perk editing.

Click on the perk, "Trickster" you just found, and move over to the right where a bunch of lines of numbers and words show up.


Here you want to scroll down as shown by the poorly drawn arrow, until you find a section with "Perk conditions". Scroll down and you will see a condition "getsleeping", you want to remove the whole column, with "getsleeping" under it, simply right click the row with its title on the left and select "remove". Then scroll back up and edit the row "DESC - Description".

Simply right click the third column highlighted by the selection, and choose "Edit". Then change the description to "Can pickpocket any equipped item", "Ok", and you're done. then simply close the whole program with the X on top right, and it will open a familiar screen with only Ordinator's .esp selected, simply choose OK if NO, OTHER, .esp file is shown and selected.

Congratulations, you've restored the albeit mostly useless, but nontheless FUN perk to its original state.

man I did the first steps, but I can't find the option to remove the damn "getsleeping" condition I believe that the version I'm using tes5edit doesn't have this option

Thanks a lot! It worked. Was using SSEedit for SkyrimSE and just followed the steps. (for those not getting the remove option, try right-clicking on the third or fourth column on the right)
