King Slime
How to Summon: There are three ways to summon a King Slime. The first is defeating 150 slimes during a Slime Rain Event. The second way is by using a Slime Crown which is crafted at a Demon/Crimson Altar using 20 Gel and a Gold/Platinum Crown. The third way this boss can be summoned is at random on the outer two thirds of the map.

Arena: An arena is certainly not necessary for King Slime, however, space is highly recommended. Sideways and vertical space is what's needed and this can be accomplished through a stretch of wooden platforms roughly 10 blocks above the ground. There is a second way to make an arena, you could just build a rope around 20 tiles high and he wont reach you or teleport to you, making this fight VERY easy.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment: This boss is usually fought unexpected because it spawns from the Slime Rain Event which is random (as well as the random outer map spawn). Whatever you have on you at the time usually works well enough to defeat it becuase he has no special attacks and is realively weak compared to most bosses. If you do end up having trouble defeating it, try using a bow with plenty fire arrows for a ranged attack, as his only way to damage you is through melee.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • Keep moving since all his damage is from melee; ranged attacks work best because of this.
  • If he spawns from a Slime Rain, an arena is helpful to avoid the slimes that spawn.
Eye of Cthulhu
How to Summon: This boss can be summoned by using a Suspicious Looking Eye at night. If you're not lucky enough to find one in an Underground chest, one can be crafted by taking 6 Lens to a Demon/Crimson Altar. This boss also has a 1/3 chance to spawn every night if these conditions are met:
1. The Eye of Cthulhu has not been defeated.
2. One player has at least 200 life and 10 defense.
3. At least 3 town NPCs are present.

Arena: The arena for the EoC is nothing short of a simple length of raised platforms. It's important that they are elevated because when EoC dashes at you he can sometimes go below the ground. When he does this he can become unhittable and basically invisible until he dashes at you again. Regen can be easily covered with a campfire or two depending on how long you make your arena.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Recommended armor is either full Lead/Iron, or full Gold/Platinum for the best amount of defense possible.
Weapons: A gold/platinum bow will do the trick armed with plenty fire arrows for lots of damage.
Accessories: This is an early game boss and sometimes the first for some playthroughs. Anything goes for accessories at this point, but if you have enough to pick and choose from prioritize ones like Hermes Boots, Band of Regen, or Cloud in a Bottle.
Potions: An Ironskin potion goes a long way, also include a Regen potion if you can.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • In his first phase when he isn’t dashing, he will just hover. During this time it’s okay to just sit under him and open fire
  • When you’ve run the length of your platform get around him and run back the other way, continue this movement pattern and he won't be able to corner you anywhere.
  • Move, his dashes are not hard to avoid if they are spent catching up to you.
Eater of Worlds
How to Summon: This boss is exclusive to a world with Corruption. It can be summoned by breaking three Shadow Orbs. To access these, a player must take the plunge into darkness down one of the pre-made divots that are on the surface of the Corruption. It is not uncommon to use bombs to gain access to the orbs which can be broken with a hammer of any sort. If you happen to run out of Shadow Orbs (which you will if you break them all), its handy to have all those Demon Altars down there as well as 15 Rotten Chunks and 30 Vile Powder which can be used to craft Worm Food, the boss summoning item.

Arena: We recommend you create a multi leveled area of platforms that are covered on both sides with a solid block of your choice. It is important this is put above ground because the EoW is limited to traveling through blocks and cannot reach very far above ground. With an arena like shown, he will have limited access to attack you, thus making the fight easier. Regen can be covered with a campfire, there is no real need for anything overkill against him.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Recommended armor is either full Lead/Iron, or full Gold/Platinum for the best amount of defense possible.
Weapons: Plenty of shurikens or grenades, a Vilethorn (is dropped from Shadow Orb), and a Gold/Platinum bow with arrows.
Accessories: Prioritize ones like Hermes Boots, Band of Regen, or Cloud in a Bottle.
Potions: The trusty Ironskin, and Regen potions.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • Use Shurikens and Grenades first because they deal damage to multiple segments.
  • If you’re cornered, try to get as far a possible and wait so you only get hit once while he passes through you as he goes back down.
  • Try to limit how many times you break him in the middle because doing so creates multiple mini worms which may be harder to control.
Brain of Cthulhu
How to Summon: This boss is exclusive to worlds with the Crimson biome. It can be summoned by breaking three Crimson Hearts which can be accessed via bomb, since your pickaxe doesn't make the cut yet. The hearts are located in the pre-made caves that spawn on the surface of the Crimson. Once you make the decision to delve into the caves, you'll quicky notice the many Crimson Altars that accompany you on the way down. One of those can be used to craft the summoning item Bloody Spine with 15 Vertebrae and 30 Vicious Powder to fight this boss as well.

Arena: An open area is important. This is generally done for you with how the caves open up at the bottoms. We recommend multiple levels of platforms in this open space because the BoC will begin to teleport and mobility is very crucial to avoiding unnecessary damage. Regen can be covered by a campfire placed in the middle of the arena.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Recommended armor is either full Lead/Iron, or full Gold/Platinum for the best amount of defense possible.
Weapons: Gold/Platinum bow with an ample amount of Jester arrows. The Undertaker is also useful if you get it from a Crimson Orb, but make sure you have plenty of bullets because it doesn’t give many initially.
Accessories: Prioritize ones like Hermes Boots, Band of Regen, or Cloud in a Bottle.
Potions: The trusty Ironskin, and Regen potions. Potion of Swiftness if you’re feeling crazy, nothing extreme is needed.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • The Jester arrows absolutely tear through his first stage eyeballs so let ‘em fly
  • When he opens up and rushes at you he can be harder to push away, so just continue to shoot at him because this stage of his fight is very weak.
  • He teleports, but as long as you can pay attention you should have no problem avoiding him while he does this.
Queen Bee
How to Summon: To summon this boss, a player must take a trek into the dreaded jungle. In the Underground of this biome, multitudes of Bee Hives can be located with a Larva in it. Use strong caution around the Larvas, a lot of things can break it, and you'll have a surprise Queen Bee fight suddenly on your agenda. This boss can also be summoned by an Abeemination which is crafted by hand using 5 Honey Blocks, a Stinger, 5 Hive, and a Bottled Honey.

Arena: Horizontal space is very important because the QB moves mainly left and right and not vertically. A long arena is perfect for this fight and can usually be crafted from the Hive itself. If you do choose to fight her in the Hive, remember to be careful for the Larva. I have accidently triggered her more times than I can count. A bonus to doing the arena in her hive is you get free access to honey, which grants a temporary regen buff just from sitting in it; however, don't forget about the the trusty campfire for constant unconditional love and support for all your regen needs.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: A full set of Shadow/Crimson, or Meteor armor is the best option.
Weapons: Minishark, Boomstick, Waterbolt, or Gold/Platinum bow. A Space Gun also works well if you have a full set of Meteor armor.
Accessories: Prioritize ones like Hermes Boots, Band of Regen, or Cloud in a Bottle.
Potions: Ironskin and Regen.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • She’s fast, so it may be harder to avoid every dash she does at you. Keep your calm and don’t worry because she isn’t an “overwhelm” boss.
  • Being underground doesn’t mean you can’t run away and go up to the surface. If you want to fight her there, it may even be easier in some cases.
  • Don’t drown in honey.
  • Take full advantage for when she has stopped moving to spawn bees, this is when you lay into her with as much as you can, and then wait for her to do it again.
  • She's a jump rope boss, when she's hardest to avoid is when she's flying mach speed side to side, so move up and down to hopefully avoid that attack
Skeletron
How to Summon: This boss is summoned by cursing the Old Man at the Dungeon. I know it sounds cruel, but it's the only way to free him from his curse. Once the sun goes down, talk to him and click the Curse option. After this is done, get ready for a fight (which you should already be ready for) because the old man perishes and in his wake spawns Skeletron right on top of you. Do not enter the dungeon without first defeating this boss, otherwise you'll be in for a nasty surprise. This boss can also be summoned using a Clothier Vodoo Doll. This is an Accessory and when equiped allows for a player to deal damage to the Clothier NPC, which spawns with a vacant house after Skeletron is defeated. If the Clothier NPC is killed in this way, Skeletron will spawn.

Arena: What we recommend is to create a very long straight walkway on the surface with campfires along the way. The same length of wooden platforms slightly above it should also be used for maximun mobility. Mobility is important in this fight to avoid the massive amounts of damage he does with his spinning head. The platforms also provide and escape for getting cornered by Skeletron and running into him.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: A full set of Shadow/Crimson, or Meteor armor is the best option.
Weapons: A Minishark is very useful and most effective. Just make sure you have plenty of bullets. A Space Gun also works well if you have a full set of Meteor armor.
Accessories: Prioritize ones like Hermes Boots, Band of Regen, or Cloud in a Bottle. At this point you might have a few that you like more and feel free to use them.
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness.

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • Kill the hands first. The head is what you need to kill to win, but the hands often act as shields because they are on both sides. If you feel impatient, you only need to kill one to open him up.
  • If his hands are alive, shoot them while he does his head spin, because during this time he’ll pull his hands back above his head and they won’t be flying around, this is the most efficient way to remove them.
  • All you need to kill for this fight to be over is his head, so theoretically you don’t have to shoot the hands if you don’t want to but I always do.
  • His hands attacks are pretty predictable, they will swing down at you which can be avoided by running to the side, or he will do a sweep where he moves horizontally very quickly and his hands follow, this one is avoided by jump roping his hands at the right time to avoid damage.
Wall of Flesh
How to Summon: A Guide Voodoo Doll is required to summon this boss as well as a Guide NPC. To summon it, make sure your Guide NPC is currently alive, and take the Guide Voodoo Doll and "drop it like its hot" (get it??) into the lava of the Underworld. Doing this will sacrifice your Guide and spawn the Wall of Flesh. A Guide Voodoo Doll is a drop from a Voodoo Demon, an enemy in the Underworld. Use caution when killing a Voodoo Demon as the Doll will drop upon death and land in lava if that's what's underneath it. Defeating this boss will permanently put your world into Hardmode, so only fight this boss when you're ready for the next challenging step in the game.

Arena: We recommend a bridge streching about 1000 blocks throughout the Underworld. This is used as a safe path to fight the boss, as it is a long battle, and also prevents you from falling into the lava during the fight. Add more blocks to the bridge if 1000 blocks isn't long enough when fighting the WoF (sadly this can only be determined through trial and error). When buildings are in the way, dig through them and make sure you destroy enough to have a great deal of open space vertically as he is very tall.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: A full set of Molten is the best choice.
Weapons: Minishark, Grenades, Demon Scythe, Star Cannon, Waterbolt.
Accessories: Spectre Boots (Hermes Boots + Rocket Boots) and Obsidian Shield (Cobalt Shield + Obsidian Skull) are must haves. The rest are really up to you, our advice is make it either offensive or defensive.
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • Never stop shooting unless you’re switching weapons or healing.
  • Use a mount for more speed.
  • His eyes take more damage than his mouth so try and aim your shots toward his eyes if you can.
  • When he first spawns he has a lot of little enemies that get stronger the less health he has, so dispose of them all quickly and the fight is fairly simple.
  • If you’re using the star cannon or grenades, start with them for the most effective use because they are excellent at eliminating his little minions
  • Beenades are incredibly effective at elimating him.
  • If you’re using the Star Cannon collect probably around 30 stars.
The Destroyer
How to Summon: This boss can be summoned by using a Mechanical Worm at night. A Mechanical Worm can be crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using 6 Rotten Chunks/Vertebrae, 6 Souls of Night, and 5 Iron/Lead Bars. This boss also has a chance to spawn every night after a Demon/Crimson Altar has been broken and The Destroyer has not yet been defeated.

Arena: The best way to defeat this boss is to build a medium sized box that is in the air. The reason behind this is to block the lasers that shoot from his body. These lasers are the majority of his damage and with the box it will restrict him to attacking as if he was the EoW. This arena format does not, however, block the probes he spawns from getting to you so be ready for that.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Adamantite/Titanium armor
Weapons: Phasesaber, or Adamantite/Titanium Sword, Daedalus Stormbow with Holy Arrows
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Spectre Boots, Emblem of your choice.
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • When his head is in the ground, move around so he doesn’t hit you on his dash back up, his head does the most damage.
  • When he has you cornered in your arena don’t try and hop out, wait in the very corner until he just passes through you and hits you once, instead of multiple times if you risk it.
  • His probes are a pain, but they drop hearts pretty frequently so it’s easy to maintain good health
  • Don’t leave your box, this box makes sure his lasers don’t shoot at you which is a primary factor in how he deals damage.
  • Keep swinging always, he has a ton of health and you can only fight him at night so don’t waste any time.

The Twins
How to Summon: This boss can be summoned by using a Mechanical Eye at night. One of these can be crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using 3 Lens, 6 Souls of Light, and 5 Iron/Lead Bars. It also has a 10% chance to randomly spawn every night if a Demon/Crimson Altar has been destroyed and The Twins have not yet been defeated.

Arena: The most important part to defeating The Twins is plenty of room. They have complete mobility so nothing can be built to restrict their movements. An arena is less essential to this fight, but if you want to come prepared we recommend a very long platform, complete with campfires and heart lanturns, that you can run across with a mount for extra speed.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Adamantite/Titanium armor
Weapons: Megashark with Crystal Bullets
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Spectre Boots, Emblem of your choice, Avenger Emblem
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Endurance, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • I cannot stress this enough, there is no rule that says you have to shoot at them equally, in fact I recommend you don’t, target Retinazer (the red one that shoots lasers) until he is dead and then you can deal with Spazmatism (the green one) in peace.
  • Spazmatism is honestly harmless when he hasn’t entered his second stage. In his first stage he mostly attacks like the Eye of Cthulhu except has a green fireball he can shoot, so ignore him, work away Retinazer until you’re alone.
  • The less HP these two have the more frequent their attacks become, so don’t let one sit at low HP, finish them off.
  • Retinazer’s lasers will be extremely fast when it is low, so quick movement to the left or right is a pretty good way to avoid this barrage.
  • Spazmatism’s green flamethrower in his second stage is the most harmful attack either of these two have. When he does this attack you must do anything you can to avoid sitting in that flame too long.
  • This one may sound dumb but it might help some people. If these two are off your screen because they are attacking someone else, keep shooting. If they are in their second stages you will hear a *tink* that sounds like you hit metal, making it pretty easy to shoot at them without seeing them.
Skeletron Prime
How to Summon: This boss can be summoned by using a Mechanical Skull at night. A Mechanical Skull can be crafted at a Mythril/Orichalcum Anvil using 30 bones, 3 Souls of Night, 3 Souls of Light, and 5 Iron/Lead Bars. This boss also has a random chance to spawn every night if it has not yet been defeated and the world is in Hardmode.

Arena: This arena is multiple layers of wooden platforms. Make sure that they are long enough to be able to run on, and high enough apart you can either fly/rocket boot/grapple hook to them. This arena is only used to provide space to avoid as many of his attacks as possible.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Adamantite/Titanium armor
Weapons: Megashark with Crystal Bullets, Daedalus Stormbow with Holy Arrows
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Spectre Boots, Emblem of your choice, Avenger Emblem
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Endurance, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • At first his 4 arms may seem overwhelming but they do actually have patterns.
  • His Prime Vice and Prime Saw will constantly be trying to melee you, the saw revs up when he starts his head spin so run sideways because all that arm does is move towards you until it's touching you for mass amounts of damage, his vice swings up and down pretty rapidly at this time too so just run sideways/diagonal to avoid hits and be careful because they do a lot of damage.
  • His Prime Cannon drops bombs, but most of the time if you keep moving this arm is pretty useless, like actually completely useless because the bombs just fall through platforms.
  • His Prime Laser will just shoot lasers at where you are and not where you will be so keep moving, honestly this is the arm you should try to get rid of first if you're using an arena because it is the arm that will probably hit you the most.
  • When he spins at you his hands all keep doing their own thing so don’t rely on any free time to get attacks in on his hands.
  • Shoot at his hands first, mainly the laser and saw the other two can be worked with, get rid of them, this fight gets so much easier with every hand you kill.
  • Once daylight hits he goes into a permanent spin attack that will insta kill you if he hits you so make the best use of your time and don’t dilly dally!
Plantera
How to Summon: This boss can only be fought after all three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated (The Destroyer, The Twins, and Skeletron Prime). It requires a player to go back into the Jungle and locate a Plantera's Bulb in the Underground Jungle.

(Plantera's bulb)

Be patient as bulbs spawn randomly so it may take a few days in the game before you actually find one. To summon this boss simply break the Bulb with a pickaxe and Plantera will spawn.

Arena: This fight will take place underground since that's where the bulbs spawn. We recommend you hollow out a cavern around the bulb that is complete with campfires and heart lanturns. Plantera's second stage is very fast so a larger area would prove beneficial. When the bulb breaks, she is the one who comes to you so make sure you have the home field advantage.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Chlorophyte armor
Weapons: Megashark with Crystal Bullets, Death Sickle, Hallowed Repeater with Hellfire Arrows.
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Spectre Boots, Emblem of your choice, Avenger Emblem
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • This fight may seem easy but beware, once the second phase hits Plantera becomes much faster and can deal a lot more damage.
  • In her first phase, she is very slow, but shoots projectiles at you, so don’t get lazy, keep training her in a large circle around your arena and this will hardly be a problem.
  • Her seconds phase starts off with a bunch of little tendrils that also deal damage and are connected to her main head, pick away at her and these enemies will hardly be an issue.
  • She gets much faster in the second phase and is primarily a melee attacker, use this to your advantage, with a big arena you can easily run her in a big circle as you stay out of harm’s reach.
Golem
How to Summon: This boss requires a player to defeat Plantera first. Once Plantera has been defeated it will drop a Temple Key, which can be used to gain access to the Jungle Temple. The Jungle Temple will also be in the Underground Jungle so keep searching if you haven't already found it. Once inside, make your way thorugh the Temple's paths, but be wary of the numerous traps and enemies inside (you don't want to end up dead like in Indiana Jones and they are far worse than any boulder or explosive trap you've encountered). Open the chests along your way to get Lihzahrd Power Cells which are needed to summon this boss. These Cells also have a rare chance to drop from Lihzahrd enemies. At the end of the Temple will be a large room with a Lihzahrd Alter inside. With a Lihzahrd Power Cell in your inventory simply click the Lihzahrd Altar and the Golem will spawn.

Arena: Unfortunately, there isn't much room for creativity because the temple walls are not destructable at this point in the game. All that really can be done is to add blocks and wooden platforms for maximim mobility. Don't forget, of course, to use the handy campfires and heart lantern for health regen.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Turtle, Shroomite, or Spectre armor
Weapons: Sniper rifle, Death Sickle, Megashark with Crystal/Chlorophyte Bullets, Hallowed Repeater with Hellfire Arrows,
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Lightning Boots, Warrior/Ranger/Sorcerer Emblem, Avenger Emblem, Rifle Scope
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • For the first part of this fight his hands are a pretty big threat so shoot them first, and them his head will be hardly as much trouble after they die.
  • When his head separates and you can attack his body, be quick, his head flies around the room and does serious amounts of damage and you won’t last long in there.
  • He deals mostly melee damage so he will try to hop on you and deal his damage that way.
Constant movement and flying around the room goes a long way to prevent any unnecessary damage.
Lunatic Cultist
How to Summon: This boss requires the Golem to be defeated first. Once the Golem has been defeated, a group of Cultists will greet you outside of the Dungeon's entrance. If all of the Cultists are killed, then the Lunatic Cultists will spawn. Defeating the Lunatic Cultist will trigger the Lunar Event and put you on the direct path to the Moon Lord. There is no stopping the Lunar Event until it has been defeated (see our Event Guide for more details). This boss can be summon coutless times because the Cultists spawn back at the Dungeon's Entrance once the Lunar Event is complete.

Arena: The arena needed for this fight is space so numerous attacks can be avoided. Usually the same arena that was used to defeat Skeletron should suffice for the Lunatic Cultist.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Beetle, Shroomite, or Spectre armor
Weapons: Possessed Hatchet, Sniper Rifle
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Lightning Boots, Warrior/Ranger/Sorcerer Emblem, Avenger Emblem, Sniper Scope
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Hunter, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • For being an endgame boss he’s relatively weak, but he can still do massive amounts of damage if you’re not careful.
  • He has three main attacks, he can shoot homing exploding fireballs, he summons an ice ball that shoots shards off in all directions, and his most annoying (in my opinion) is his lightning attack that summons bolts of lighting to strike at you and deal a lot of damage.
  • Later in the fight he stops and creates look alikes of himself, if you damage the duplicate before damaging him, the duplicate flies around with him and adds homing blue flame attacks. If you continue to shoot the wrong look alike these duplicates stack making him almost undefeatable, however, if you shoot the right one all his duplicates disappear and he’s back to square one.
  • There are ways to see which one is the real Lunatic, the easiest way is to use the hunter potion, which only illuminates the real one so you know which one to shoot at.
  • What makes him different than most bosses is his movements dictate the fight. Most of the time bosses just follow you around, but he flies and teleports around and it’s often you chasing him, but don't get caught up in that. He stays near you so don’t get caught too far away from your arena.
Duke Fishron
How to Summon: To summon this boss it requires a fishing pole, the ocean, and the rare Truffle Worm. A Truffle Worn is very difficult to obtain. It spawns in the Underground Mushroom Biome and can only be captured with a Bug Net or Golden Bug Net. Once you've captured it, grab your fishing pole, make you way to the beach, and cast away with the Truffle Worm to spawn Duke Fishron. This boss requires a Hardmode world since the Truffle Worm only spawns in Hardmode.

Arena: We recommend a lot of wooden platforms in multiple layers for maximum mobility because this boss is fast and hits hard. The more range of motion you give yourself the better, just don't forget that campfires and heart lanturns are also handy and helpful.

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Beetle, Shroomite, or Spectre armor.
Weapons: Possessed Hatchet, Sniper Rifle
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Lightning Boots, Warrior/Ranger/Sorcerer Emblem, Avenger Emblem, Sniper Scope
Potions: Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • He’s fast and fishious (vicious get it?)
  • He is by far the most versatile boss before Moon Lord. He moves fast and hits hard so stay on your toes.
  • Once he’s at half HP he is even faster and his special attacks become even more chaotic. Keep making large sweeping circles around your arena and he will have to try very hard to keep up with you.
  • He will charge at you exactly five times and then use his special attacks. But once he gets into his second phase he charges three times before switching to some suped up attacks.
  • He blows bubbles that do damage upon impact, and in his second phase he creates them when he is spinning in circles; they are not just aesthetic so beware of those. He also creates tornadoes that fire off sharks at you so as long as you keep moving around your entire arena it’s easier to avoid being overwhelmed.
  • With the large arena you can move all around it but never backtrack because he will be right on your heels and you’re risking a free hit for him.
  • You must keep moving against this boss, and get creative: zig zag, dip between platforms, give yourself any strafing advantage you can because any mobility will help you in the long run.
Moon Lord
How to Summon: This boss will be summoned once the Lunar Event has been completed. Sometime after this is done, your screen will become blurry and that means the fight is almost upon you. This boss can also be summoned by using a Celestial Sigil which can be crafted at an Anciet Manipulator using 20 Solar Fragments, 20 Vortex Fragments, 20 Neblua Fragments, and 20 Stardust Fragments.

Arena: All you need is a large open area (We'll explain later).

Recomended Weapons & Equipment:
Armor: Beetle, Shroomite, or Spectre armor
Weapons: Vortex Beater, Solar Eruption
Accessories: Obsidian Shield, Wings, Cross Necklace/Star Veil, Lightning Boots, Warrior/Ranger/Sorcerer Emblem, Avenger Emblem, Sniper Scope
Potions: Gravitation, Ironskin, Regen, Swiftness, Wrath, Thorns, and (Mana Regen, and Magic Power if you use magic)

Tips,Tricks, and Strategies:
  • Gravitation potions are the most helpful thing you can bring to this fight.
  • When you destroy the eyes in his hands and forehead, they separate and attack you. When they do this they are now invincible so don't waste time attacking them.
  • He will always be basically on top of you so don’t exhaust all your dodging options trying to avoid this.
  • The attack that really ends this fight is the sweeping laser beam he shoots from his forehead. To avoid this attack you must switch gravity and keep ahead of the beam by making a circular motion in the air around the eye.
  • Gravitation potions provide the number one best way to avoid all his chaotic attacks.
  • Don’t be selective with your shots, always continue shooting/swinging even if there is nothing to shoot/swing at.
  • A tentacle that stretches out of his mouth and latches on to you is lifesteal, switch gravity and avoid getting snagged by this, it’s not the end of the world if you’re caught, but it prevents your regen so try to avoid it.
  • Keep flying around with your gravity switch, there’s no rule that says you have to stay on the ground and make it easy on him.
  • Bring multiples of all your potions because this fight will require that amount of help.
  • Be calm, don’t get worried and tighten up, stay loose and stay on the move, insult him in your head if you want, (I have no idea why, but it’s a lot of fun when you just bombard him with insults while you’re playing. Try it!)
  • You can do this, you are prepared, you are skilled, and I believe in you!

Unlike all the other bosses the other bosses run away after they have killed all the players but king slime stays until you kill him. (Another reason why king slime is the most easy boss)

And @BT-7274 king slime won't leave until he is killed.

Why do all the boss guides I read forget empress of light like I have been looking for a guide for over a year now that has information on how to kill her.

For the Destroyer you got right about most but I recommend the beach and duke fishron arena as range you can hide under neath and hit him with the storm bow or use long range melee for melee characters magic is pretty much anything on you at the time and summoner would use the box (for the minions will take out probes which will help)My recomendation is using at least three people a melee (for having a tank when range or magic is down) A ranged (for main damage due to the storm bow and hollow arrows) and a magic or summoner the summoner`s minions will destroy probes while magic will negate damage way faster thus killing destroyer before probes get out of hand

If I die to slime king in a slime rain event can he respawn in the same event if I kill 150 more slimes? (new to the game idk what I'm doing)

The make up of this guide is so pompous but misses crucial, most basic information. Is this for normal, expert or master mode bosses? Where is the difference between these modes regarding boss fights?
Guide is superficiall, mostly looks not brains, smoll pp. very smol pp.
