What you will need
You will need:
  • Patience
  • The wire mess (can be found inside the garage on the shelf)
It looks like a jumble of black wiring (see image)
Also, whenever connecting a wire, press F. Don't click.
You might need to feel around for the check mark!
Some connections might be named differently in-game, but you should get the idea from the pictures.
Some connections are not required for starting the car.
Wiring the rear connectors
Wiring the rear connectors is really easy, you don't need to unbolt anything.
First, you need to find the rear connectors. They are located inside the car, near the back seat.
Connections
  • Wire the rear connector to the fuel tank.
  • Wire the rear connector to the left tail light.
  • Wire the rear connector to the right tail light.
Wiring the engine bay front connectors
The engine bay front connectors are located right in the engine bay, below the battery.
This is a bit harder, as you need to unbolt the headlights.
Connections
  • Wire it to the left headlight. Make sure you unbolt it and detach with a 7mm!
  • Wire it to the right headlight. Make sure you unbolt it and detach with a 7mm!
  • Wire it to the firewall connectors, located in the corner of the engine bay. (Image shown in next section)
You're almost done!
Wiring the engine firewall connectors
This is a tad easier; you don't have to unbolt anything.
Connections
  • Connect the engine bay firewall connectors to the positive side of the battery.
  • Connect the firewall connectors to the Electrics (coil).
  • Connect the firewall connectors to the Radiator.
Wiring the fusebox
Now, you need to wire the fusebox.
Connections
  • Wire the fusebox to the temp and fuel gauges.
  • Wire the fusebox to the key hole/ignition switch in the steering column.
  • Wire the fusebox to the hazard and cigarette lighter switches.
Wiring the right dashboard connectors
Now, you need to wire the right dashboard connectors (located in the dashboard). You might need to lean through the dashboard to reach it.
Connections
  • Wire the right dashboard connectors to the Amplifer power port.
  • Wire the right dashboard connectors to the Radio/CD player.
Wiring the left dashboard connectors
These are located on the steering wheel side.
Connections
  • Wire the connectors to the Wiper/Headlight switches.
  • Wire the connectors to the Fuel mixture gauge.
  • Wire the connectors to the Extra gauges.
Wiring the starter
Now, you have to wire the starter.
Connections
  • Wire the positive side of the battery to the Starter, and bolt in the wire connection with a 5mm.
  • Wire the ground side of the battery to the Starter, but you must unbolt the front bolt with a 7mm first. Then, once you connected it, you can bolt it back.
Wiring the regulator
The regulator is probably the easiest, with only two connections.
Connections
  • Wire the firewall connectors to the regulator.
  • Wire the regulator to the alternator.
Wiring the amplifier
The amplifier is really easy.
Connections
  • Wire the audio port to the CD Player.
  • Wire the right port to the Right Subwoofer.
  • Wire the left port to the Left Subwoofer.
Tightening the battery
The battery must be bolted in now. Also, I recommend getting a new battery as it lasts way longer.
When you finish wiring the car, you must bolt in the battery.
NEVER LEAVE THE GROUND/NEGATIVE BOLT BOLTED IN ON ITS OWN!
First, bolt in the positive side with an 8mm. Then, and only after bolting in the positive side, you can bolt in the ground side with an 8mm.

Bolting the ground side first will lead to a likely battery fire.

After doing this, you are done and your car will start! If your car doesn't start, comment and I will try to help you.

When removing the battery, you must remove the ground bolt first.

If this guide helped you, make sure to rate and favorite! Thanks!

Notice: You can only wire correctly; you can't unwire, since you can't make any mistakes.

Thank you so much for this tutorial! everything works except for my headlights, I made sure I screwed in the headlights all the way, and that I wired them correctly, the rear lights and the hazards work fine.

how do i remove wires? or is it like impossible to wire wrong?

I don't seem to have the negative wire connector on the battery even though everything else is already wired according to MSCEditor. Can't connect it to the starter or anything else either... And I can only bolt the positive battery port as it's the only one with the clip and wires attached.
