Notes, Tips & Tricks
  • There are no strawberries in this chapter.
  • Chapter 6 introduces feathers that turn you into a comet-like projectile for a short time. In this form, you can fly in any direction using your movement inputs. Dashing returns you to your normal form. Dash to collect feathers in bubbles.
  • "Sleeping" blocks will wake up and zip toward you if you dash into one of their glowing sides. Use these to break certain barriers and reach areas you can't get to on your own. They transfer momentum to you like other moving platforms in the game. While awake, these blocks will keep traveling in the same direction until they meet an impassible barrier, after which they will go back to sleep and slowly return to where they started. The return trip can be interrupted by dashing into the block again. They can pass through pink spikes (however, you cannot).
  • The pinball bumpers will bounce you around like...well, pinball bumpers.
  • This level requires you to solve a puzzle in order to acquire the crystal heart. The solution is given to you at 3:03 in the video.
  • At one point, the level splits into a high path and a low path. It really doesn't matter which one you take (I use the lower path in the video).
  • When your doppelganger begins shooting bolts and lasers at you, the objective is to get close enough to touch her. This will cause her to move and will push you back to a pre-determined location on the screen. Watch out for the blocks that begin moving and/or falling when this happens.
  • The level-up near the end of the chapter gives you a double dash, meaning you can dash twice before your dash needs to be recharged.

How are you supposed to infer that the Blue Heart and the bird puzzle are connected?

The logic to the crystal heart puzzle in this is exactly the same as the one with the birds/butterflies. Pattern is the same, etc. The arrows show you how to input the sequence. First normally, then with left/right mirrored, then with up/down mirrored, then mirrored along both axes. You're supposed to infer the fourth one based on trend observation. If we did left/right and up/down, then the next logical step is a complete reverse.
