"We had some wild wind and swirling clouds here last night, but no tornado, no rain. Just Mother Nature showing off, telling us she still knows how to dance and paint, using clouds, sky and sunset. Amazing that a cell phone can capture such a beautiful image. And yes, this is oriented corrrectly, the clouds and winds were doing the Flamenco, I think..."

This was circular swirling dark clouds, at a lower level than most of the light clouds. It really was like a washing machine effect in the sky. Lotsof wind, but no thunder, no rain, no hail, no tornado. Just this weird spinning sky. I posted a dzone different shots on my twitter, but won't use up server space here to do the same.

It was odd, a little frightening, but amazingly beautiful at the same time.

No houses fell on anyone, and no dogs or flying monkeys were harmed during the filming of this event...

We had a h3!! of a thunderstorm here last night about 8:30-9. It was nice. A sign of spring, finally!
