Marie's Room 100% Achievement Guide & Video Walkthrough.

Locations for all story and journal entry objects, 100% achievement guide and video walkthrough.

Achievement Notes.

Marie's Room has a total of 7 Steam achievements, all can be earned in one playthrough taking about 20 minutes, 5 achievements are earned through natural progression and 2 which require you to interact with all objects which are missable.

Achievement Guide.

The following achievements are listed in the order that you should earn them.

	Welcome back Kelsey.	You've entered Marie's room. This achievement pops about 5 seconds after you open the door to Kelsey's bedroom, you don't actually have to enter the room for the achievement to pop, but you do have to enter to progress the game.
	Words of secrecy.	N/A. This achievement pops after you log into the laptop on the desk, the password is found on a scrap of paper hidden under the door mat. The password is "Shadow Person".
	Cuteness overload.	N/A. After logging into the laptop there is a file on the desktop in the top left called "kitty.gif", double click the file to open it and the achievement is yours.
	Every word.	All of Marie's journal entries found. WARNING, this achievement is missable, you must complete the requirements before opening the case under Marie's bedside table. To earn this achievement you must interact with all journal related objects in Marie's room and out on the landing (the starting area). A complete list of all interactable objects can be found in the next chapter of this guide.
	The complete picture.	Found every story object. WARNING, this achievement is missable, you must complete the requirements before opening the case under Marie's bedside table. To earn this achievement you must interact with all story related objects in Marie's room and out on the landing (the starting area). A complete list of all interactable objects can be found in the next chapter of this guide.
	A change of heart.	N/A. To earn this achievement you must open the case under the bedside table with a five digit tumbler lock. WARNING, do not open this case until you have interacted with every possible object in Marie's room and on the starting area outside her room. A full list of all interactable objects can be found in the next chapter. The code can be found in the journal after you have interacted with every journal entry object in Marie's room , the numbers are in red surrounded by red circles , the code is 34951.
	Closed chapter.	Finished 'Marie's Room'. This achievement pops as the credits roll at the end of the game.

Interactable Story/Journal Objects.

Be aware that a few people are reporting that the "The complete picture" achievement is not unlocking for them despite interacting with all the story related object in the list below.

Steam user 【=◈︿◈=】 had this problem and advised "I found that by rotating the objects when you examine them you manage to bypass that bug, or at least that's how it worked for me, and also for the guys at the other guide". So if you are one of the unfortunate few not to have "The complete picture" unlock first time around give this tip a try.

Stair landing (starting area).
- Local wineguide book (on table).
- Picture #1 (on blue side table against the wall).
- Picture #2 (large picture on wall above chair).
- Wall mounted weather station (facing away from Marie's bedroom door, it's on the wall to the left).
- Marie's bedroom door (some say you have to interact with all 3 doors on the landing, but I did not and I still earned all achievements).
- Try going downstairs

Marie's room (Present)
- Map (right side of Marie's room, on a table).
- Postcard (left side of Marie's bedroom, on a white and black cupboard sitting on the floor behind where the journal is located).
- Read Marie’s journal (on a pile of boxes on the left side of Marie's bedroom).

Marie's room (Past)
Starting from the Marie's bed working anti clockwise...
- *Orange peels (on the right side of the bed).
- Journal (on bed).
- *Pillow (on left side of bed).
- *Case (under bedside table, left of the bed, this cannot yet be opened).
- *Phone (on the bedside table, left of the plant).
- Shopping bags (on floor round the corner to the left of the bedside table).
- *Swimsuit (hanging on the wall above the shopping bags).
- *Bike helmet (on bookshelves behind the shopping bags, to the left of the swimsuit).
- *Name badge (in a bowl to the left of the bike helmet).
- "The Green Eatery" card (in the same bowl as the name badge).
- *Doormat (at the base of the door just to the left of the bookshelves).
- Keys (hanging on the right side of the door frame about half way up).
- Takeout menu (pinned to a noticeboard on the top panel of the door).
- *Kelsey’s jacket (hanging on the back of a chair to the left of the door).
- *Sparkly shoes (on the floor in front of the chair).
- *T-shirt (hanging from the top of the wardrobe just to the left of the chair).
- Pizza boxes (sitting on top of a pile of boxes in front the left most wardrobe door).
- Smoking jar (to the left of the wardrobe is a set of drawers below a calendar, on top are four jars, the smoking jar is the one stacked on top of two others).
- *Stone (on the same set of drawers to the right of the plant).
- *Open drawer (same set of drawers again, open the top drawer).
- *Kelsey’s phone (to the left of the drawers is a table with a TV on it, the phone is to the left of the TV, when facing the back of the TV).
- *Turn on TV (walk around to the front of the TV and click it, not need to search for a remote).
- Rubik’s cube (to the left of the TV is a set of black and white cupboards on the floor, the cube is on the top to the far right).
- *Whiteboard (just to the left of the Rubik’s cube leaning up against the wall with a chemical formula written on it).
- Sheet of paper (on the floor in front of the cupboards).
- *Ringbinder (on the same set of cupboards, on the far left).
- Poster (to the left of the cupboards is a chair the poster is on the white wall just above it).
- *Bike basket (above the poster is a high shelf with fairy lights hanging from it, the basket is in the far left corner of the shelf).
- Picture (to the left of the poster is a brick wall with several pictures mounted, the picture you want is the largest of them).
- *Ripped shirt (to the left of the pictures is a window with a desk and chair in front of it, the shirt is hanging on the back of the chair).
- *Use the Laptop.
- *Open kitty.gif on desktop.
- *View E-mails (2 messages).
- *View Internet browser tabs (3 tabs).
- *Broken window (just above and to the left of the laptop screen).
- Turn the desk lamp on (to the left of the laptop).
- *Open notebook (to the left of the laptop, in front of the lamp).
- *Open drawer (the desk with the laptop sitting on it has some drawers on the left side, you want the top one).
- World map (on the wall to the left of the window).
- Turn the record player on (below the world map).
- Turn on the fan (on a set of shelves to the left of the record player).
- *Sunglasses (on the same set of shelves to the left of the fan).
- *Beer bottle (to the left of the fan and sunglasses is a window with curtains closed, on the right curtain edge the bottle is obscured by the curtain).
- *Kelsey’s backpack (at the foot of the bed, far right side).

No worries at all, in fact I obtained the achievement after finding your guide, firsly I played to enjoy the full experience without spoiler. I think you really did a very good job with your guide and the kindness of your answer also shows you are probably a great person. Just looking for the news tab for the game it would appear there has been at least one, maybe 2 patches for the game since I wrote this guide. Looking over the patch notes, it does not appear that there were any changes that should effect this guide, unless those patch notes are incomplete.

As such I'm unsure as to why a limited number of people are having different experiences when trying to unlock "The Complete Picture", and this is the very reason I do my best to ensure having achievements pop "on video".

AND92, I am sorry if my guide lead to any confusion or was the result of you having to play through the games multiple times to get 100%, I post guides to help people, not to hinder, so again sorry if I caused you any issues.

Just in case it helps to someone. I was a bit frustrated becase "the complete picture" didn't pop up, I had examine everything in detail, rotating and listening the full monologue, just in case, but nothing. I saw in your video that the achievement pop up even before you read the diary and open the lock, so I said, it's ok, I won't be able to get the achiment for some reason, but I will finish the game (for the third time). For some reason, the achievement pop up once I grab the diary and leave the house, so be patient and if you are 100% you have examine everything try to finish the game!
