Megastar of Evoland Guide (Complete)

I'll be listing down all 30 stars as I go through a second playthrough of the game!

French Version

The Beginning (Edel Vale) - Star #1-3

Star #1

Backtrack a little bit after obtaining a sword in order to get your first star behind some bushes you can cut down.



Star #2

After you get your first save point, head west/left and cut down the bush blocking you from the chest.



Star #3

North of where you get the plotline and a the second save point (after getting 16 bit color), there is a chest with the 3rd star in the beginner area.

Papunika Village - Star #4

Star #4

Go east of the well and behind the building for a hidden path to the back of the house. Straight across the hidden path exit will be a chest containing the Kobra Zero card. West of this card is the side entrance to a locked house containing a star!

Hidden Meadow & Cave - Star #5

Star #5

After you meet Kaeris, take a sidetrip west of The Crystal Caves to the Hidden Meadow. In there will be a hole in the ground leading to the Hidden Cave.
Go south in the Hidden Cave until you see a fork in the path. Take a right for Star #5!

The Crystal Caves - Star #6-7

Star #6

Once you enter the cave, keep heading north until you see water. To the left will be a hidden passage leading to a Star.





Star #7

Head South after you unlock the healing fountain in order to get another Star.

Edel Vale Part 2 - Star #8-10

Star #8

After beating the Kefka's Ghost, you will end up back in Edel Vale. Follow the path a little bit then head down and cut down some weeds. The first chest contains a Star.




Star #9

After you find the second 3d panel (you can only cross it while in 3d mode). Follow the road until you see a line of weeds (as shown in the screenshots). The chest past the weeds will contain a star.




Star #10

Across from Star #9 (east of it but it's blocked by trees) is Star #10. Just simply circle around to get to the other side.

Noria Mines - Star #11-12

Star #11

Past the first Skeleton you fight, you'll find a pressure plate that activates a nearby plate to allow passage through water. It also activates an earlier plate to let you get a chest near the start of the mine.




Star #12

On the first Maze in the Noria Mines, there is a locked door. East of that locked door there is a key. East of that key is a Star.

Ruins of Sarudnahk - Star #13-14

Star #13

General Direction: Northwest



Star #14

General Direction: North

Sacred Grove - Star #15-19

Star #15

Once you find the ladder leading down to the lava area, make your way to the eastern wall. There is a hidden passage that leads to a Star.




Star #16

The next Star in this room is along the north wall. You can destroy the crumbling wall with a bomb which will then reveal the path to the other Star.



Star #17

There is an area with 2 firepits. One of them aren't lit. First, you will have to light the other firepit. Next, blow up the rock to the right. Lastly, burn the small tree while in classic mode. This will open up the path to the 17th Star.




Star #18

Continue along the path east and you will find a crumbling rock to destroy. North of that rock is another chest containing Star #18.




Star #19

In the same area that you get the first half of the amulet, go north. There will be a wall you can break down using a bomb. Within that wall lies the 19th Star.

Shrine of the Babamut - Star #20-21

Star #20 & 21

Both Stars in the shrine can be found behind destructible walls. They are easy to spot.

Noria Mines Revisited (with Bomb) - Star #22-25

Star #22

There is a star just before the boss room behind a destructible wall.




Star #23

There is another star east of main entrance. It's behind a secret passage along the east wall.




Star #24

A third star can be found north of the main entrance. It is behind a destructible wall.



Star #25

You'll find a fourth star past a save point and in one of the lava trap rooms. There will be a destructible wall on the north wall concealing a chest with a star.

Forbidden Lake - Star #26-30

Star #26

Once you enter the Forbidden Lake, head north to find a crystal. East of that crystal there will be a chest containing a star.




Star #27

The Forbidden Lake is essentially shaped as a bit of an upside down letter U. A little bit south of the previous crystal there is a path leading east. There you will find some weeds blocking your path to another chest. (general direction = north east)




Star #28

South of Star #27 there will be another chest blocked by 1 weed. Cut it down for a clear path to the 28th star.



Star #29

Past the 3d tile shown near Star #28, you will end up on a path with 4 firepits. West of those 4 firepits is a chest blocked by a 3d tile and a small tree. To remove this small tree, you have to burn it down by shooting at it from the north.




Star #30

The final star is located just a bit west of the 29th star. There are no special tricks to get to it other than a bit of crystal manipulation. There will be a fire pit with a destructible rock blocking the shot.

Was being driven nuts with 1 missing star in Sacred Grove - turns out it was the hidden wall near Lava area in the first ladder "dungeon". Somehow I missed that (even though I looked a good dozen times over the entire Sacred Grove in it's entirety.

The NPC by the save point in Aogai will tell you where your missing collectables are.

The order here is kinda incorrect at some points, like Sacred Grove being after the Ruins when it is the other way around.

Star 23 in mines of noria (revisited) does not require bobmbs and can actually be gotten the first time around.
