Night Vision Goggles Guide

Night Vision walkthrough for PAYDAY 2.

Intro

Since it's tedious to test and no guide has yet been posted regarding PAYDAY 2 night vision, I thought I'd post a quick walkthrough.

Three masks have been updated with night vision modes:

• Batsh*t Crazy (standard green)
  
• PNV - BriteNite (standard green)
  
• Cloaker-san (high contrast blue)

To enable night vision while in-game, hold the Weapon Fire Mode button (default V) for about 1 second. When enabled, the screen turns into a grainy green or blue picture with a vingette over the corners.

Requirements

• Gage Spec Ops Pack DLC
  
• Gage Spec Ops Mission: War For Oil

Located 4-5 rows from the bottom of the "DLC" mask category.

Located at the bottom of the "Normal" mask category.

Located about half the way down the "Normal" mask category.

Conclusion

The new night vision is not only ideal for builds that need to see in the dark and cannot afford to lose any concealment using lights, it's a complete cure to the frustration of any area that forces you to tilt your screen or up your brightness to see.

Note: if your game is bright enough to see clearly in dark heists without assistance, consider turning brightness down or changing color filters to add contrast.

it is the same button to change between auto/semi on your weapon. hold that button to activate nvg

unless they changed it, those should be at the bottom of the "Normal" mask tab
