Widescreen Fix! Play In "True Widescreen"...Unstretched!

This will enable you to run the game in true widescreen resolutions, without the normal stretched 4:3 aspect ratio the game offers by default. Best of all, this is compatible will all exes of the game, including the "protected" Steam exe.

Please don't expect me to try and provide support; although questions are welcome, as long as you know I'm at the limitations of an average user, just like you. ;)

How To Install

Note the download link and basic installation instructions. If this link ever gets removed my Steam, just Google "call of cthulhu thirteenag widescreen fix" which should direct you to the download site.

1. Download and unzip "CallOfCthulhu.WidescreenFix.zip".

2. Open the folder and navigate to the "Engine" directory.

3. Inside you'll notice a "Scripts" folder as well as a "dinput8.dll" file. Copy those into "Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Cthulhu\Engine" or wherever your game files are located. Be sure to copy them into the Engine folder...you won't need to overwrite anything.

4. Launch the game as you normally would.

If The Launcher Errors Out

A couple of times I got an error when trying to launch the game. Make sure you select the bottom resolution option for whatever resolution you use (each resolution is listed twice). I have no idea why this is, but I've only gotten errors with the top option, never the bottom.
