Full Bestiary (as I go)
By Spike_Boss2004
This will be a long term project of finding pages that I dont have for the bestiary and adding tons of stuff in. I hope I will play this game long enough to complete it :D

I am not an expert or anything at the game, but i imagine other people want to see this without getting ALL of the pages themselves. I was going to do only the lore parts of this but i might as well add the tips to beat them.

*This is currently NOT completed because I don't have all of the pages of the Bestiary. If you would like to send me pictures of the pages to help me finish this guide, please send me messages on steam. Thanks!

The Bestiary
The Bestiary is a book with the name, a picture, the description, and a few tips about every enemy in the game. It includes all Asterfish, Elderfish, and Kingfish in the Tropical, Crystal, Desert, and Abyss biomes. The way to get the pages for any enemy apart from the Titan of the Stars is to kill the enemy in-game. The page will look like a brownish square, very distinct from other drops enemies give. The chance to get a page is completely random. You can easily access The Bestiary by hitting the "Bestiary" tab on the home screen.
The Tropical Asterfish
Warning: not all of the descriptions are EXACTLY as they are in the game and will take a long time to complete. I will try to fix grammar issues I see and add little comments, which will always be in parenthesis ( ), ok? That also means that I can and will make mistakes, so if you notice any, feel free to correct me in the comments.

Asterfish in the game are enemies that will spawn when you enter a zone, marked by three rings on the map that will turn from green to red when you are close to them, meaning the enemies in that zone will attack you. Elderfish and Kingfish will be seen on the map, highlighted in red and will spawn when the player flies over them, starting the boss fight of the level. That is the only way they can spawn. If the enemy spawns randomly, which will usually be the first two of each biome, i will say it in parenthesis.

Frogie (natural spawn) - Frogies almost always travel in large packs, unless in immediate danger. Being the smallest and weakest creature in the Tropical Biome, Frogies flee fearfully at the slightest hint of threat. When an aggressor attacks a school of Frogies, the swarm will immediately disperse, causing an uproar of confusion for the pradator.
- Frogies do not harm other creatures.
- Frogie packs disperse when attacked.
- Frogies never drop items or credits.

Froglet (natural spawn) - Froglets appear similar to Frogies in size and appearance and even travel in packs like Frogies. However, do not let these creature's size fool you (you totally can). Unlike Frogies, Froglets chase down any predator that threatens its existence. They often attack the player as a group too, depending on strength in numbers.
- Froglets can poison you, like their kind.
- Froglets can attack from multiple directions.
- Froglets can leap spontaneousely, like their kind.

Skittish Leap Frog - Leap Frogs leap around their prey frantically, waiting for an opportunity to prick you with their tongues, which contain glands filled with lethal venom. In groups, the Leap Frogs yield an even greater threat since it's difficult to predict which one will attempt to stick you with their deadly tongue yet.
- Leap Frogs can often be mistaken for Froglets.
- Leap Frogs have the longest tongue to size ratio.
- Leap Frogs have the fastest movement of their kind.

Whaletongued Bull Frog - The Whaletongued Bull Frog is a massive monstrosity that leaps about with elegant ease, carefully blanketing space with its enourmous body. When it finally lands, it unleashes its whale-like tongue in a reckless fury, destroying everything in its path! The sheer size of its wallowing tongue makes it hard to avoid.
- Bull Frogs ONLY deal damage with their tongue.
- Bull Frogs' difficulty stems from its obtrusive size.
- Bull Frogs travel the slowest of their size.

Thorned Tri-Frog - The Thorned Tri-Frog is an abnormality among it's kind. Each of it;s multiple heads acts independantly, of one another so it can be difficult to tell which which will lash out next! Like it's smaller cousin, the Leap Frog, Tri-Frog tongues contain copius amounts of poison. Furthermore, piercing thorns protrude from it's hide.
- Tri-Frogs also have thorns which deal damage.
- Tri-Frogs often leap at their prey from a distance.
- Tri-Frogs heads can attack simultaneously or seperately.

Shelled Squidlet - Shelled Squidlets navigate around their prey by firing poison projectiles which propel them forward, shell first. Depending of the prey's position, Shelled Squidlets will attack by firing a poison projectile or trying to ram the target with it's thorned shell. Their size makes them quick to move and hard to hit.
- Squidlets' small bodies make them hard to hit.
- Squidlets cannot be killed without ripping a limb off with the harpoon.
- Squidlets prefer headbutting their prey when attacking.

Shelled Hulksquid - Shelled Hulksquids have much in common with the Shelled Squidlets, but have greater size. Shelled Hulksquids have larger bodies, shells, and fire larger poison projectiles. Having such large bodies makes dodging their massive strides difficult and the same goes for dodging their big bubbling poison projectiles.
- Hulksquids travel the slowest of their kind.
- Hulksquids' large bodies make them easier targets.
- Hulksquids shoot the largest poison projectiles of it's kind.

Shelled Megasquid - Shelled Megasquids are the most dangerous of the shelled squids. They have three pores, from which they fire poison projectiles. Each pore is angled slightly, giving it's ranged attack a spread effect. Furthermore, the pores can fire both simultaneously and randomly, making for a more unpredictable attack pattern.
- Megasquid's length make their headbutt harder to avoid.
- Megasquids' spitters can shoot simultaneously or individually.
- Megasquids have the most health of their kind.

Biterfly - Biterflies appear harmless due to their lack of aggressive physical features. Their beautiful, brightly colored wings may deceive prey into a state of admiration and tranquility. However, once off-guard, this creature opens its monstrous mouth and unveils its razor sharp teeth only to introduce its admirer to its demise.
- Biterflies only open their mouths when close to their prey
- Biterflies gain speed when chasing a prey with an open mouth
- Biterflies' wings also protect their main body part

Chompchaser - Chompchasers prefer a more straightforward approach to hunting, and attack ferociously upon sight. Only the most agile can dodge such an aggressive predator. Don't let its constant chomping fool you. Once close enough, it opens its mouth wide - like the Biterflies - to bite down upon its prey with bone-splitting might.
- Chompchasers' many rippable parts are susceptible to harpoons
- Chompchaser charges are best avoided by turning while fleeing
- Chompchasers can headbutt their prey, but it won't deal damage

Chompzilla - Chompzillas move slower than their smaller kind. Nonetheless, their great size can be attributed to more than it's large stomach. A Chompzilla fiercely charges it's prey and opens it's mouth to reveal a long, grotesque tongue with a mout at the end! This tongue holds another, smaller tongue which also has a mouth.
- Chompzillas always use their triple mouth attack.
- Chompzillas can also headbutt prey to disorient them.
- Chompzillas charge quickly, but harpooning them can slow them.

:D

The Tropical Elderfish
Elderfish are the bosses that must be killed to complete a "hunt", or a single level of a run. They usually require you to rip sections off of them to be able to kill them, since many parts are behind parts, behing parts, to act as different phases of attack patterns sometimes. Here we go!

Belch Brothers - Belch Brothers is the eldest of the Thorned Tri Frog species, with a larger body, larger tongues, and more prominent thorns spreading across its ancient, thick hide. Old age has not made this creature sluggish, for he's much more aggressive than his younger kind. Froglets reside in his stomach and he'll spit these at prey also.
- Belch Brothers has more deadly horns than it's children.
- Belch Brothers likes to leap at it's prey spontaneously.
- Belch Brothers hunts best in close-quarters combat.

Megalarch - Megalarch is the eldest of the Shelled Megasquid species, with a longer, thicker stone shell and much larger body. it's swift and magnificent lunge can catch a distant prey off guard and send them soaring through space. It's enourmous poison spitters can bombard even the greatest of foes with it's venomous projectiles.
- Megalarch's charge can be seen coming by checking the radar.
- Megalarch's attack pattern depends on it's preys' positioning.
- Megalarch has high mobility, but will slow as he loses bodyparts.

Nom Nom Nom - Nom Nom Nom is the eldest of the chompzilla species with a great, monstrous body and an even fiercer hunger. It's unyielding strength can plow through small creatures and crystal structures as it charges unto it's terror-stricken prey. Mouth, within mouth, within mouth - an unwanted and foul suprise for unsuspecting prey.
- Nom Nom Nom's can be slowed be leading him into structures.
- Nom Nom Nom's high mobility makes using the harpoon to slow crucial.
- Nom Nom Nom can trap prey in it's open mouths when charging.

Great Ghuza - Great Ghuza, eldest of an asterfish long extinct, shares features with it's closest surviving kin, the Shelled Squids. It's long life can be contributed to his massive pyramid-like shell, which protects nearly it's entire body. When hunting, it opens it's shell and unleashes a barrage of poison projectiles.
- Great Ghuza's poison projectiles can't go through structures.
- Great Ghuza's barrage is easier to dodge when further away.
- Great Ghuza's shell harms anything that runs into it.

Poe Tayto - Poe Tayto was the last remaining member of an ancient species. His rock-like appearance and vine-like limbs allowed him to camoflage himself in the depths of the tropical environment. Hunters were wary of the harsh thorns on it's long vine-like tentacles, for a lash could cause these thorns to rip hide.
- Poe Tayto attacked by dividing and re-emerging.
- Poe Tayto's tentacles attacked in various ways.
- Poe Tayto's hard hide made his body invulnerable.

The Crystal Asterfish
Undiscovered (Crystal Minnows) (natural spawn)

Crystal Piranha (natural spawn) - Crystal Piranhas have remained a dangerous bunch for centuries. While Crystal Piranhas may look cute like Crystal Minnows, they certainly don't feel danger. While a lone Crystal Piranha bite may not do too much damage, a pack can overwhelm a predator and tear it to shreds, leaving nothing but blood and bones in their wake.
- Crystal Piranhas can only bite you
- Crystal Piranhas swarm while chasing
- Crystal Piranhas never give up on a hunt

Undiscovered

Icepiercer - Icepiercers, the fastest of their kind, lunge swiftly at their prey with their long, hide-puncturing horn. Only the most agile can outmaneuver such a quick attack. If an Icepiercer lands an attack and doesn't pierce it's enemies heart, it's formidable horn can hurl the largest of foes into the void of space.
- Icepiercers travel the fastest of their kind
- the Icepiercer's charge can be hindered by a harpoon
- the Icepiercer's charge can deal a decent amount of knockback

Icecrusher - Icecrushers charge relentlessly, looking to devastate their prey by ramming into them with their massive horns, said to be shaped by the gods into warhammers. - Icecrushers have the longest charge of their kind
- the Icecrusher's charge includes a violent head jerk
- Icecrushers have the greatest health of it's kind

Undiscovered (Crystal Spitters)

Crystal Drake - Crystal Drakes are larger and slower than the Crystal Spitters. Despite being larger targets for predators, they remain lethal due to their deadlier attack pattern. The Crystal Drake shoots a larger, more dense spread of crystals compared to a small burst - making it more likely that a crystal projectile strikes it's victim.
- Crystal Drakes flee after an attack to prepare for a counterattack
- Crystal Drakes have crystal protrusions that act as armor
- Crystal Drakes spit more crystals in a wider cone than Crystal Spitters

Undiscovered

Their attack consists of rapidly expanding like a balloon, in turn striking their prey with their needle-like spieks.
- Pufflings are the fastest of their kind
- Pufflings have crystal needles that also harm enemies
- Pufflings move sporadically to prepare for an unpredictable attack

Puffer - Puffers travel slower than their Puffling counterparts, but their bodies can expand larger, making them cover more space and therefore more dangerous. Additionally, right after expanding, they launch a volley of sharp crustal projectiles in all directions, making them a threat to distant prey and passersby as well.
- Puffers fire crystal projectiles after expanding
- Puffers travel slower than Pufflings, but have more health
- Puffers and Pufflings both have no rippable body parts

Frost Puffer - Frost Puffers are the largest and slowest of their kind. Like their kin, their attacks involve rapidly expanding. However, instead of spikes, they have large pores which emit cones of frost after they expand. This frost slows prey in addition to causing damage. The frost also propels them about chaotically.
- Frost Puffers travel the slowest of their kind
- Frost Puffers are the only of their kind to have rippable body parts
- Frost Puffers have the most health of their kind

- Beetlelings attack with tiny pincers on their mouths
- Beetlelings prefer to attack as a swarm
- Beetlelings often live on the insides of larger Beetle species

They attack by instantaneously coordinating a unified charge in which they then alter their formation and simultaneously ram towards their pray.
- Winged Arcjabbers' small bodies make them easier to dodge
- Winged Arcjabbers attack by ramming their prey
- Winged Arcjabbers always travel in packs of up to seven
