Raising a succesful tribe! (My opinion)

So, I am making this guide that so many other people made.. But this is my personal best way of raising your tribe for both new and old players! (Not too old :>) Alrighy, first things first is the island! I suggest for brand new players the Tiny green, For the players (Who I will call "old" players) who already know the basics I suggest the grasslands because it will might have a few patches of some of these: Swamplands, Savvanah, Jungle. I dont suggest heading into a swampland patch because there are things call Sleepy bugs (Or atleast I call them.) and I will tell you a short story about them at the end so be ready for that! Anyways, the Tiny green is simple; A tiny, green island where you can settle for a while while you learn the basics!

Tiny green The begginers

Ok, so you will start with two nichelings, a male and a female. You can see if they are male if they have a mane, female if they dont. So what you want to do first is take a look around, there are senses in the bottom left of your screen, click on them and you can see more things! Try it out and see if you can find a bush, go there. But if you can find one, explore a bit and you will eventually. You also may find a permanent nest that you can sit in. If not you can place one down later, and when is later? after this step! (And after you pass the day, just press space or the icon on the top of the screen!)

Mating The begginers

Alrighty! Now thhat you have found your bush, and perhaps a nest, You can mate! Do do this you put your male right next to your female and mouse over the "..." Once you have done that you will see a heart, click that and boom! You should find your female expecting and ready to go! If she isnt already, put her in your permanent nest, if you dont have one... Well.. Make a nest! First, hop next to your berry bush, then Mouse over the "..." and click the nest icon. She will make a nest then and she will be ready to have her child! Meanwhile, you male will be ready and waiting to do something else, place him by the berry bush and collect berrys to add to your stores!


Growing up The beginners



Finish the day, and now you should find a little nicheling with your female! Move her (Optional) and help your male collect berries! He can hop over to mate if you wish, or he could search the island for rabbils, or moles.

The next day you will find a little gem on your child! Now you can move them, they are in the child stage now. you can breed as much as you like now that you know how!

Day 2
Now your child is a teen! They will have two gems and you can use them to clear grass or help with supplies!

Day 6
Your child has grown up now and you can find them a mate, but whoever you choose, make sure their genes dont match up.
Ex. A B C D E F G
A B C D E F G... ect are all BAD matchups.. Dont breed those two!
Ex. A B C D E F G... ect are all GOOD matchups, you can breed those two! (Note, it doesnt matter how it matches up.)

Island hopping The begginers

Alright, now that your family tree is coming along, you can start thinking about island hopping! See those ports with the weird light colored grass and pink flowers? With the weird pointy stone? Thats a port! once you have about 10 nichelings and atleast 100 food, you can gather up as much nichelings as fill the port, and then click travel and you will be off!

Grasslands The oldies

Not much I can say here but cautions and such.. Anyways! Hello oldies, already know what I just spent so much time on writing? Well your in luck! because im spending some time writing this, for you! (You may already know this stuff but OH WELL!)
Good genes to breed in:
Claw. With this as you may know it ups your strength, therefore hunting will be much easier for you.
Nimble fingers/Crackers jaw. Collecting nuts and clams is a great way to add to your stores!
Fishing tail. Fishing is also great if you are feeling fishy! (And want to be succesful)
Optional:
Ram horns/Antlers. A little more strength doesnt do any harm when you encounter one of those annoying bearyenas!
Runners leg. Exploring is great, having a group of explorers every now and then with runners leg aint that bad when you think of it, you can find new sources of food and clear pathes to new places!
Hmm.. Annoying bearyenas? Well.. Once you take em down you may find a baby bearyena, give it 3 food and it will love you forever! when it grows up it will hunt for you, and better yet.. You can breed with it! You will have a chance in getting these genese:
1. Bearyena claw. Great if you want a strong tribe!
2. Bearyena hind legs. It makes you quite slow, but quite strong! Pair this with runners leg!
3. Bearyena snout. It gives you a strong voice, so you can scare off bearyenas, rogue males, and Dodomingos!
4. Bearyena ears. Want some good lookin' nichelings? then bearyena ears is the ear for you!

And thats it with the genes! now I will rap it up with some precautions.
1. Dont eat off cactuses, if you didnt know, it hurts you.
2. Dont eat off poisen berry bushes, unless 1. you got a death wish or 2. You have poisen fangs / have a rogue you hate.
3. Dont attack thorns. I think you can guess why.
4. Dont be like me. Which brings me to a story..

Storytime!

One day I had this cool nicheling who was exploring on a nice rainy day. He ran over to a swamp and was like, "Awesome! I wonder whats in it! Puddles? COOL!" He leaped onto a puddle and slept in it. That morning he awoke and a few steps away downhill where these totally cool and weird bugs! He wanted to attack them so he dove headfirst into them. Realizing he couldnt do anything and he was just sitting there awkwardly, he cleared a grass and slept. That morning he awoke sleepily, he didnt want to do anything.. So he took one drowsy step and fell over, asleep.

Moral of the story: Those bugs are dangerous! They reduce your moves for a few days, so learn from my mistakes and dont send your nichelings over to the swamp and get them infected by those nasty bugs!
