This guide explains everything you need to know about friends in Uptasia.

How to Find, Add and Visit Friends

At the bottom of your screen, you can find your list of friends:


Friends are – except for Lieschen, who is a system friend – all fellow players. In total, you can invite eleven friends. You can always visit Lieschen and see how her village looks like, though she will never visit you in return.

How to Find and Add Friends

If you'd like to add a friend, just click on the empty portrait picture in your list at the bottom of your screen.


If you know someone, you can search your friend with his/ her name. If you don't know someone,
you can click on "suggest friends". The system will now provide you with a list of friends, similar to your level, from which you can pick one. If you want to add this person as a friend, click on the cat paw on the right side to send the invitation and add the person as a friend.

How to Visit Your Friends

As soon as you have friends added, you can visit their villages and help them. Simply click on the portrait picture of your friend and the journey to your friend's village will start. Where your friend needs you is indicated by the symbol on the left with the helping hands.

Clicking on this symbol will make you it easy for you to find the place where your friend aquires your help: with each click, the system will automatically jump to the place on the map where you can help your friend (also indicated by the "reaching-hand" symbol).

As a reward, you will receive two random specialty goods, whereas your friend will receive one specialty good. When a friend visits you, you will get one random specialty good in return as well.

Gifts

The gift box symbol in the middle of your friends list has several functions:



In the Gift Overview you can see, which of your friends have visited you in the last two days and which gift you received thanks to their visit.



The second tab on the right (the little shopping cart) brings you to the gift shop. In Uptasia, you have the possibility to send your friends some presents. These gifts usually cost a small amount of gems.

In the last tab you'lll find the "Gift Inventory" section. If you've received some gifts, the history will show up here.

How to Manage Friends

If you click on your profile picture, you can get to the point "Friend administration". Here you can see active friends as well as pending requests.



The page automatically shows you your active list of friends. If you want to delete one of them, just click on the "delete friend" button behind the name in question.

In case you invited someone who has not reacted yet, you can also cancel the request again: just click on the "pending requests"-picture and delete the person, who's blocking your list by non-reacting.



You also have the possibility to invite friends to Uptasia. For each friend who reaches level 15, you'll receive 15 gems. As soon as your friend has finished the tutorial, he (or she) will get two trees of friendship: one for themself and one which they can give to a friend. You just have to enter the e-mail of your friend and send the invitation.
