How to Install maps When steam doesnt download them

This guide will show you how to install maps for Cities In Motion 2 when Steam doesnt automatically download them.


1. copy the link of the workshop file. to do this you need to have the URL bar enabled in Steam's Settings page.
2.head to a site that downloads steam workshop files such as http://www.steamworkshopdownloader.com or {LINK REMOVED}
3. save the file (once downloaded) to the following location in Windows: C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities in Motion 2\Maps
4.once saved your map should be installed

NOTE THAT THIS SHOULD ALSO WORK FOR RULSETS & other workshop items

@richardjongkamp sorry but I cannot help you since the only macintosh I own is a 2001 Powerbook G3 "Pismo" Model running Mac OS 9.2 and Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger which cannot run steam let alone play Cities In Motion 2.

Can you help me how it works on a Macbook? After the map 'Cities in Motion 2' I don't see a map 'Maps' or something like that.
