How To Actually Appear as a Good Candidate for Staff

This is made to combat horrible candidates for staff, and make them aware of how horrible these habits are making them look.

The Main Guide

As server owners, there's nothing we hate more than what I like to call "staff hunters". A staff hunter is someone who joins random servers and immediately gets the owner to do nothing but ask for staff. There's two outcomes to this situation after the requirements to apply are explained:

1. They leave immediately and never come back, then find another server to go ask.
2. They wait exactly X hours they need to apply, leave an application then beg for it to be read over and over. If it's not read within like 30 minutes or gets denied, they leave and never come back again.

Now, I can't actually believe that server owners are legit just giving people staff for asking. But for them to be doing this so very often, SOMEONE has to be reinforcing it. If you're a server owner, I urge you to stop; But this isn't for server owners.

Now let me explain what you should do if you actually want to get staff or make it anywhere far on a server staff team:

1. Find a community you actually enjoy, just don't join it because it says "staff needed".
2. Play with the community and get to know people, don't be shy and make sure a good portion of the server knows you before trying to apply.
3. Don't apply right when you meet the hour requirements, this makes you look desperate an unpatient.

Instructions for when you're complete with the steps above and are going to apply:

1. Make your application attractive and make sure it's free of gramatical errors.
2. Make sure you have good length and depth where needed, don't just answer with one word or sentence.
3. Make sure you follow all the requirements and fill out the application honestly.
4. NEVER lie or copy someone else's application.

This is how you can go from completely 100% unattractive for staff to atleast a condsiderable candidate. I hope you enjoyed :)
