I'm glad you have your thought with this class, if you made your own guide plz tell me and I'll make a link there on top.
For now I'm just a humble hunter lost in Monster Hunter World and haven't touched this game for too long XD.
3) "WE NEED THROWING AXE TO DEAL WITH SPECIALS" I can't even start how wrong you are - this game is build around every class being good at something (for slayer it is armored enemies and bosses with dual axes and hordes with either pickaxe or 2h hammer), not every class being good at everything (with maybe some exception being ranged veteran, who is medicore at everything)
1) your whole equipment section is utter garbage, sorry, there's no better way how to react to your "and whatever" on every equipment slot - there are a lots of guides to explain clear reasoning why you should want some specific stats on each equiped item (ie. to pass the threshold for one-shotting the lowest level enemies in hordes on legend)
Stats on different weapon dont stack with each other.
