"IJN Oite was a Kamikaze-class destroyer built in 1924 and completed in a year later. The vessel only got it's name in 1928. Before that it was simply known as 'destroyer nr. 11'. It would participate in the assault on Wake Island, the occupation of New Guinea and the Solomons campaign. Oite got sunk by American aircraft on February 18, 1944.
