Elise the Devil CG Guide

A rough English guide on getting all the CGs and memories in Elise the Devil. May contain spoilers. The CG numbers are based on their position in the memory list, left to right and up to down.

First Continent (CG 1,2,3,4,22,20)

Some of the CGs are in-game dailies (i.e. you need to rest before you can continue them). There is a crystal in the second town on the first continent at which you can rest. You will be able to access this regardless of at which step you are at on the first continent I believe.
Also, please note that the daily CGs do not have to be completed in any particular order; I am merely listing them in the order that seems most convenient with regards to the storyline.

CG 1

The first CG set is from the guy behind the inn in the first town. This one is a daily, so you need to rest; I'm stingy, so I rested at the crystal in the second town. If you do not finish this CG set, don't worry; there'll be a point later in the game where you can come to redo the CGs. (I think you have to start from the beginning though.)

CGs 2-3

CG 2 is automatically obtained when going to the boss battle for the red orc. CG 3 is from losing the battle to the red orc. If you are too strong, you can simply use self-destruct, which will bring you to 1 HP. After losing, you can either go back to this crystal before the boss or try the boss again (and I believe you'll be at the same HP as you were when you went in). The last two statements are true for the majority of boss battles (particularly the ones that have a crystal before them). I personally leveled up to level 20 to defeat this boss. If I remember correctly, he's weak to physical attacks.

CG 4

CG 4 is obtained by losing to the bandit leader. Like with all bosses, you can self-destruct if you are too strong. I leveled up to 26 for this boss, but that was overkill.

CG 22

After defeating the bandits, the second town will open up. If you talk to the items shop merchant, he will give you a quest to collect 3 evil eyes. This quest is very simple; when you enter the bandit lair, I believe the evil eye monsters will fly towards you on-screen. If I remember correctly, they are weak to physical attacks. I only had to fight two of them, and the fights were not hard. Just check your inventory after each encounter to see if you have 3.
After completing the quest and giving him the evil eyes, you will get the first CG of this set.
Afterwards, you can volunteer to "keep shop." This is a daily CG.

CG 20

The the third town, the town where you plan to take a ship, there will be this boy by the entrance. He provides the CG 20 set. This is also a daily CG.

Ship and East Continent (CGs 5,27,28,29,30,6,7)

CG 5

When you're on the ship, the sea monster will attack. Regardless of how strong you are, this is an automatic loss, and you will be sunk underwater
CG 5 is obtained from losing to the boss monster after passing through the underwater maze.

CGs 27-30

CGs 27-30 are obtained from the brothel. Elise and Sakuya each have 2 unique guests.
CG 27 is from a playboy with Elise.
CG 28 is from a merchant with Elise.
CG 29 is from Lord Daikon (the evil daimyo I believe?) with Sakuya. He only appears when Sakuya is working.
CG 30 is from a rich youngster with Sakuya.
These are not dailies, but you do have to do them all multiple times to complete the CG set.

CGs 6-7

CGs 6-7 are obtained from losing to the evil daimyo.

West Continent/Capital Continent (CGs 8,21,23,9,10,11,12,13,14,15)

CG 8

CG 8 can be gained by losing to the bandits after exiting the first town on the capital continent.

CG 21

CG 21 is gained from the nobleman by the mansion in the capital. This is a daily. I recommend rotating this in combination with CG 23.

CG 23

CG 23 is gained by going into the inn, staying in the most expensive room (the suite), and accepting the drink that the clerk will offer. This must be done multiple times to complete the CG set.

CG 9

After becoming a maid at Eyster's mansion (a new map that can be accessed by following a street to the left in the capital city), go right and up to listen in on two maids gossiping. Then, return to the entrance, and go straight to find a sparkling window. Click on it to start the CG 9 set. Don't resist (i.e. No) in order to get the full set. Resisting will cause you to fight a guard, but you will miss out on a CG.

CG 10

After the Eyster incident is completed and after talking to Sonia, simply walk up to the door to the second prince's room. You will get CG 10, and then you will have to fight two angels, so be prepared.

CG 11

After the second prince is dealt with, you can talk to Sonia again. You will have to fight Zekushi and win. You will then face Chion, but you will lose regardless and get sent to the prison.
Getting "caught" by the prison guard will produce CG 11. You'll need to do this several times. After the first time, you can save using the magic circle since you will be unable to access the menu.
After getting the full set, you need to walk around the guard, so he doesn't "catch" you, and exit the cell. You then need to press the red button, reenter the cell to get the key from the guard, and then get your stuff.

CG 12-13

After following the priest and getting through the hidden dungeon, you can move on to the boss battle and immediately obtain CG 12. Losing to this boss allows you to obtain CG 13.
After this battle, you can choose one of two routes.

CG 14-15

Choose to conquer the world first. You will then arrive in the castle.
You can get CG 14 by defeating Chion, and you can get CG 15 by being defeated by Chion.

Free Roam Chapter (CGs 16,24,25,26,17,18,19)

This chapter is available when you decide to defeat the hero first.
You should defeat Chion's allies, Chions, then Zekushi to start this free-roaming path.
At this point in the game, you can redo some of the dailies to get CGs that you weren't able to previously get: in particular, CGs 1, 20, 22, 27, 28, 29, and 30. Please note that 29 and 30 require Sakuya to be in the party. (Don't worry. Sakuya does join the party, but she leaves it, so be careful.)

CG 16

CG 16 is obtained when you lose to the boss monster at the top of Mount Fuji.

CGs 24, 25, 26

Before going to defeat the god, there is a mansion to left of the capital city on the world map.
It's also a brothel. You can choose to send either Zekushi or Sonia.
Zekushi gives CG 24.
On the last memory for Zekushi, you can choose to let her become the nobleman's concubine (i.e. Become w h o r e). Please note that this leads to the an ending, but don't worry too much because you can save right before you make the choice.
Sonia gives CG 26.
Both Zekushi and Sonia need to be chosen multiple times to obtain all the CGs.

CG 17-18

CG 17 and 18 are defeated if you lose to the God on either his second or third incarnation. (There are three parts to this final boss battle: normal world with Chion, god's world with Chion, god's world alone; I think it's either the second or third you need to lose on, and I'm not sure if either is acceptable. It could potentially be only the third one. This boss battle was really annoying to be honest.)

CG 19

I think CG 19 can be obtained in two ways though you may have to do both to obtain the full set; I'm not too sure on this.
After defeating god, Chion will follow you, and this will end up with a battle. If you lose, you automatically get the CGs.
If you win, you get a choice: to allow him to embrace you or to tell him that he must become stronger. Telling him that he may embrace you will also lead to the CG; the latter will not lead to any CGs.
