Arbitrary resolution rendering and FPS unlock.

Make sure to launch the game first and change a few settings to generate these files before editing!

Arbitrary resolution rendering
  • Go to %localappdata%/CyberdimensionNeptunia4GoddessesOnline/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and open GameUserSettings.ini.
  • Modify lines ResolutionSizeX=xxxx and ResolutionSizeY=xxxx to your liking. Keep in mind that very high resolutions (over 4K) could break the game.
  • Save the file and play.

FPS Unlock

Originally posted by SkacikPL. I managed to make this work! Make sure to put FrameRateLimit=xxx.000000 in the [/script/engine.gameusersettings] section, not in [ScalabilityGroups]
  • Go to %localappdata%/CyberdimensionNeptunia4GoddessesOnline/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor and open GameUserSettings.ini.
  • Add a line to the file with the text: FrameRateLimit=xxx.000000, where xxx is your desired framerate. i.e: 60 for 60, 120 for 120, etc.
  • You may also add: bSmoothFrameRate=true, MinSmoothedFrameRate=xxx-1, MaxSmoothedFrameRate=xxx. i.e: Min 119, Max 120.
  • You may or may not need to disable vsync.

Now go and play!

Hmm.. well, you could check if you set it up to have write protection/permissions.
If you installed to C:\ directly this could be the case.

Yeah I played for about 30 minutes and saved it. I guess my loss

Have you started a new game and saved at least once?
Unless some update changed something, I dunno what else could it be.

Sorry a bit late to the party here, but after 10 minutes of screwing with my in-game graphics settings nothing has changed in the localappdata. Under the Cyberdimension folder all I have is /Binaries and /Content. Is there any advice someone can give me?

any idea if it's possible to limit fps for visual novel parts and unlock for the rest? cuz gpu going full power then feels like a waste, and also needlessly noisy

Nice :) 1440p + 120-144 fps on my i5 8600k + gtx 1080 is amazing play on high frames!

Tried it myself on first day, for some reason the resolution setting in the file doesn't change anything in game. I tried several combos from 640x480 to 3840x2160, somehow game just ignored what I set there and used option in menu.

FPS Unlock worked for me. Only used the "FrameRateLimit=". Only problem is the Rumble goes crazy sometimes if you get hit. Not really too big of a deal so far.
