Love this work. Hopefully a remake that lives up to the level of this work can happen someday.

This something someone made, or an actual screenshot? Looks damn amazing. I bought this game when it came out years ago on the SNES, at the time there was a ton of great rpgs that came out, but C.T. was unique, one of a kind.

Hot take, I would have preferred a CT remake as opposed to FF7 Remake.

With how bad this port was at launch, I don't think anyone at Square Enix would be able to do anything but ruin this game if they got their hands on it to do a remake or remaster. Especially since they'd probably hand it to Nomura and he'd turn it into a rhythm game or some garbage.

People say they want a remake but I'm not so sure about that.....a remaster on the other hand I can get behind.

There was a fan made project in the works called Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes, which was supposed to be set in between CT and CC. It was almost finished too, but SE put in a cease & desist order before the intended 2009 release. Such a shame.

I would love a remake...especially if it brought enough attention to the series to make a 3rd installation. Please Square!!!! A new Chrono game is the game I've been waiting for since playing CT and CC back in the good ol' days.
