The lack of direction the missions can be a bit tricky. So if you're stuck with one (or more), watch my videos and most importantly, read the descriptions!

Mission 3
Hey there!

Here the walkthrough for mission 3! I didn't do commentary, so let me explain what this mission is about and how you can tackle it relatively easy (took me only a bit over an hour).

A) The goal is to reach 75% occupation on the line Frankfurt-New York. That's 75% of that lines occupation, not your planes. You can see the lines occupation when you're in the light planner, click on the route and you'll see your part of the occupation and below the total occupation by all lines.

Start with the biggest plane you can afford and set it up on that line. This will make sure you have a steady income and that's important.

This mission is more about outlasting the other companies than to get to that 75 %.

Once the other companies have folded, you get to 75% very easily, by simply adding more and more planes to the route.

Don't bother changing the prices to anything else than normal or to outfit your planes with anyone else than economy class.

There are random requests for charter flights, which give random bonuses, like money or improvement of your Airline's popularity/image. So make sure to fulfil them.

Just make sure you stay afloat longer than the others and it's a cakewalk.

Also, buy used planes, they are often a good and cheap alternative to new planes!
Mission 4
Hey there and welcome back to my Airline Tycoon 2 Mission Walk-Through!

Remember, the missions are specifically there to teach the player different aspects of the game and that's how you win them.

If you try to play them as "Free games", you'll most likely fail.

In mission 4, it's all about taking control of 20 routes and that's it.

So the easy way is to get the shortest routes possible, put small AND fast planes on them and get to those 20.

Short routes = low income, quickly saturated and easy to control.
Long routes = high income, slow to saturate and expansive to control.

So, don't bother with long routes. Get the shortest routes with the cheapest planes available and there you go.
Mission 5
So, in this scenario, it's all about getting the fastest to 1 billion. Not Cash, but Value. So basically the value of your planes + the cash = Value of your Airline.

So, unlike the previous scenario, here it is all about making money and not having the most routes. I chose to go with the "fast planes on medium range routes". In my case, I started with routes from 2k-4k km and used Jet Planes. Try to max out the lines, because the route cost is static, so no matter how many planes you fly on it, the price remains the same.

It's good to aim for at least 80% occupancy. On several, shorter lines I even reached 99-100%, meaning I probably had too many planes flying that route, but that's ok.

Always keep an eye out for the daily progress of your competitors, to be sure that, if you would continue without changing anything, you'd end up the first at 1 billion.

And don't be shy to use that "End Day" button :)
Mission 6
Welcome back to the last and final Walk-through for Airline Tycoon 2!

The last mission labelled "Annihilation" is all about destroying your competition.

This is done by using the different sabotages at your disposal.

To access them, you first need to pick up the violin case in the manager's office and for more advanced options, pick up the bomb, which is in the trash can in front of the bank and the shotgun behind "Arnie". You can access the "Flower Shop" by pressing "X". You then have to use the violin case in your inventory, otherwise, Arnie refuses to talk to you about anything. Do the same with the bomb and the shotgun to gain additional options.

First, you should get a couple profitable routes for yourself, so you have a steady cash flow. Once done, you can then try to reduce the money your concurrences make, by flying on their most profitable routes with a plane. The goal here isn't to make them drop the route entirely though because they will just rent another one, but to just take away enough of their profit, to make them suffer a bit, cash wise.

Then you concentrate on one competitor and use sabotages on them. By far the best, in this scenario, is the hacker to steal money directly. Spam the sabotage until your out of money and don't worry about them being unsuccessful. No matter how many times the incident gets reported, it only counts as 1 penalty.

You'll have no issues bankrupting your competition this way.

Good luck and have fun.
