How to start a martian invasion

This will sow you how to start a martian invasion, an event where martians come down to abduct bunnies and probe you in uncomfortable places.

What it is.

The martian invasion is a post golem hardmode event. In the event, Martains come from the sky and attack you, like a pirtate invasion or goblin army. It has good loot, and does not occur naturally. You will have to trigger it as it does not just happen on it's own. To trigger it, you must go up to the space layer, and find a martian probe.

Materials

You will not need a lot of materials, as this is reltivley easy to trigger. You will need blocks of any kind, a workbench, and water candles. It would also help to have an ice wand, lifeform analyzer, or cell phone.

Setting up your workspace

To start your farming, you need to go up into the space layer and make a platform.

It is inportant that the platform is in the outer 2/3s of the world, or you will not find it.

It is best to start the platform near the ocean, and at the top of the world. You could create a tower of blocks, or use the ice wand sold by the wizard. Place the workbench on the platform and the water candles on it. This increases spawn rate and will also attract more harpies and wyverns, so stay on your toes. You can use a battle potion along with it, increasing your odds with it.

NOte: You do not need the battle potion, it only makes it work faster. It is only a one minute process without the potion anyway.

The martian probe.

The martian probe is a little blue thing with a green search light under it. As soon as you see it, run/fly towards it. If it turns red, immeditaly return home. The martian invasion should start. If you have a cell phone, The part that usually says "no rare creatures nearby" should change to say "Martian probe". If you follow the martian probe up, it will cancel the event. Minions will not attack it, but if a sharknado or stardust dragon touches it, the event will not go on.
