By Tango Foxtrot
If you are tired of going back to Action Stages for more Chaos Drives and Animals, you are probably like me going, "But I hate the main game *insert whining here*!" This is the trick for you!

Step 1: Methods of collecting drives and animals.
This is something even brain-dead morons can figure out. There are two ways to do this, the conventional, and the haxor'd.

Conventional:
From Stage Select, choose the stage you want to farm from. Once you got what you need exit the stage, even if you don't finish it, and with the character from that stage, access the Chao World. Enter any garden, and you will drop off the items automatically.

Haxor'd:
If you are lazy, and just want to keep yourself in the chao world, make sure you have Fusion's Chao Editor installed. Download it here: http://chao.tehfusion.co.uk/chao-editor/downloads

2.0 or later when released. Otherwise, it won't work with the Steam Version.

Next, once you have your character in the Chao Lobby. Make sure your game is windowed, and start Fusion's Chao Editor, the program will attach to the game process, and from there, click on Animals, and select the drives and animals you want in for which garden.

BEWARE: this method will make Chaos drive in the first two slots unobtainable if more than two are used (needs verification).

Next part, will merge these two roads with the same method.
Step 2: How to Recycle
With the animals and drives in the garden, let's glitch up some reusable buffers.

Pick up a buffer, place it near a chao without going up to the chao, give the chao a reason to occupy itself, such as petting it to make it thumbs up you. Then, quickly pick up the buffer, get as close to the chao as possible, and drop it to the chao. If done correctly, the buffer will eject from the chao rather than running away (animal) or being absorbed (drive). Finally, you may repeat this process several times until you are satisfied with the results.

Happy breeding, godmodders!

JESUS this can be a pain to do. My little Sonichao LOVES to take off skipping around the garden right after I pet 'im...

You need to make sure the chao is still after petting it, this will take some trial and error to find the optimal distance to set the buffer down for the chao to interact with it.

So, the reusable chaos drive glitch DOES work on the Steam version, correct? I'm having trouble getting it to work.
