Workers
You can hire additional workers under your City tab. Their prise increases quite fast, so you may want to buy $5 DLC to get one for free. This is not 'must have', yet you will boost progression alot. Also every time you start a new season you will have to start with 2 basic workers and no buildings... So +1 extra guy will help you jump right into the action, saving few hours of presious time.

Councilors
Councilors are as much important as workers. There are six of them, one for each type of products: population, culture, science, battle, magic and coins. Those fellas are running around your settlement providing random quest which improve ammount of resources you get from every building of their type. For example, my Training Yard grants +200 battle, but thanks to Knight Councilor i have +90 boost (ending with +290). This boost also applyes to other battle buildings (barracks, blacksmith, guard tower, etc).

So how do you get them? Quite easely — just build every building from each branch... Note, not every one will grant you an extra councilor. These is data reported by players:

Alchemy Lab gives science councilor;
Medium Park gives culture councilor;
Armory gives battle councilor;
Small Inn gives population councilor;
Wizard Tower gives magic councilor;
Grocery Store gives coins councilor.

Prestige
Prestige system allows to restart your town and get special rewards (skill points and blueprints). You will lose most of your resources and achievements upon resetting. You can prestige at Mayor level 50, but i would advice to wait ang get some more skill points before doing it (grind level 100 for your first time).

You will lose:
  • All of your buildings, including their levels;
  • All of your fields, including any upgrades brought;
  • All resources you have gathered;
  • All councilors will be reset to 1 lvl;
  • Your workes will reset to basic 2;
  • City Hall and Mayor level will drop to 1;
  • You will lose all territory upgrades;
  • You will lose all achievements which gain resource bonuses;
  • Your dungeon will reset to level 1;
  • Current season will change to the next one in chain (spring > summer > autumn > winter);
  • You will not gain any more blueprints or skill points for previously reached Mayor goals.

List of things which will persist trough prestige:
  • Councilors;
  • Skill Points, including already spent on your skil tree;
  • Gems and gem-related achievements;
  • All earned and brought blueprints;
  • DLC (if you have any).
How to spend gems
Idle
There are ten idle buildings which produce resources over time. Sawmill, Farm, Hunting Lodge, Mine and Fishery are the ones giving you basic resources. While Train Station, Grand Theatre, Obervatory, Guild Hall and Witch Academy giving you products. You should try to get all available blueprints for these buildings from Construct Yard.

.
Skill Points
What about skill points? Look, one skillpoint worth 300 gems. Its a huge price, so you will be able to buy like 3 of them during first week of playing. When you upgrade your skills with each additional level skill points price increases. So, if you upgrade idle profits from 0 to 1 lvl its worth 1 skill point. And if you upgrade it again from 1 to 2 lvl its worth 2 skill points already.

Anything else?
Right now you can gain 25 gems daily by comleting special quest. Thats enaught to buy something from shop. I would suggest buying everything you get there unless you already playing game for a while and getting gems from achievements is getting hard. Right now i am sitting on a pile of 900 gems and just realised that i should actually buy all blueprints daily... No point to have more cash than you can spend.
Rain
When rain starts you can see 'speed rate++' bonus on the right side of your screen. It will increase speed of fileds harvesting. But, the only real profit i found from it is to gather trees as fast as you can. They are the only resource which can benefit from speed bonus greatly thanks to high basic harvest speed. It will also help if you will improve that speed under upgrades tab.
Things you cant do yet (in development)
  • Cant move or demolish buildings;
  • Cant change ingame resolution;
  • Cant reduce sound or music volume;
  • Cant switch to full screnn mode;
  • Cant manualy force save;
  • Cant see your blueprints list;
  • Cant get reasonable rewards from prestige.

For now the only way to change your building positioning is to prestige at level 50+ and start game over. I havent seen any physical differences when new season starts, so its basicly done for the purpose of getting skill points and blueprints (which you can just buy from shop).
Secret of great profits (fixed by devs)
Note: this was fixed in matter of hours, so i will not post any more secrets like that, there is just no point so ill use them myself. Current section will remain for history.

Alright, since last patches we now can demolish buildings and that opened a hole in game balance. You can use that secret right now, but whenever developers hear about it - it will be fixed, be sure of it. I have triple checked it - it works every time.

As you all know, stronger buildings give much more resources compared to smaller ones. So whenever you can, you should build the big ones. But, when you build something its price rises a lot (sometimes by 10 times), so you cant really construct the same building many times... Or can you?

The trick is, construction price rises ONLY when your building construction is fully complete. But, construction time itself takes like 15 seconds and during that time gap price remains small. So, you can prepare many land tiles and build 5-10 buildings of the same type at once for a low price. The price wount change if you do it fast enaught and your first construction isnt yet finished.

What you should not do:
  • Do not save and quit during that process, or you gonna lose your construction progress and resources spent;
  • Do not demolish buildings during construction, or you may get error, which will force you to quit and repeat issue above ^;
  • I am not responsible for any errors you may bump into when doing this, because this is tricking and game dont understand whats going on.

Regarding your "Secret of great profits (fixed by devs): The trick is, construction price rises ONLY when your building construction is fully complete."
That is still in January 2021 so?! It doesn't seem like it was fixed at all...

Could someone re-translate the skills section into English?

In year 2 you can prestige from mayor level 75. Probably goes up by 25 levels for each year after that.

Can confirm I got the population councilor when I built the medium house.

I think it is the Medium House that unlocks the Population Councilor, not the Small Inn.

Emilia, i stopped resets at year 1 season 3. There is no point in resets at all as of this time. Prestige systems is pretty much useless.

Sometimes I still wonder about the function of Year beside it can give you Steam Achievement and as natural circulation of seasons. Changing a year i.e. from Year 1 to Year 2 give us nothing. Perhaps devs give us something because I find it is pretty lame. Still in 2nd Year of Summer but my Mayor lv. has reached lv. 200. Lazy enough to do Prestige even though I know I will get Blueprints and Skill Points.

Does anybody has though about this??

What do you mean by reset and restart? There is prestige button on the right side of screen, which can be used after mayor level 50.
