First of all,
VERIFY THE GAME FILES BY GOING TO YOUR LIBARY RIGHT CLICK POSTAL 2 GO to properitys And verify the game This is the Number 1 way the fix the game
try also deleting your postal.ini and user ini.file go

go into your file Explorer

Go to steamapps\common\Postal2Complete\System\ and delete Postal2.ini and User.ini

and it'll generate new ones

LAUNCH POSTAL 2 and if that does not work

lower you setting and especialy turn down to 0 corpes and ragdolls and everything else

If the main part does not work

go to settings and press the other video render if you have a powerful pc
or the other way round if open GL dosent work out for you

If or When you lose cheats and enchansed mode

if you ues cheats go into the game and hit ' that (should) open the command tab then type

open movieoutro

that will play the ending for apoclipse weekend witch will add them back

Ask RWS

they are nice and will help

Try reinstalling

I know I know but if nothing works REINSTALL

if you still get General protection fault and nothing works RWS still might help BUT try lowering your settings

Here's a bit of advice: don't use cheats that add a ton of things in your inventory like food or boosts and don't use workshop items that cram your inventory with extra usable thing. (I found that out the hard way when using the M4 transformer and paintball marker weapon mods). If you still wanna use mods that will add a lot of stuff to your inventory and will overload the game enough to have a panic attack and crash, save often and try not to use too many inventory cheats

also inventory cheats will cause what I call crash loops. A crash loop happens when you attempt to leave a map to go into a new one but your inventory is jam packed with stuff (that is if you're using workshop mods that add more thing to your inventory). If you get a crash that has the following text "runaway loop detected...over 1000000 iterations" consider your game officially over because you won't be able to recover your game. You could revert to an earlier save if you have one backed up of the same file but if you don't then you're shit out of luck and will have to restart your game all over again.

Mike told me that these kinds of crashes involving the NPCs and ragdolls can sometimes be inevitable if you go too crazy cause the Unreal Engine 2 tends to hate ragdoll physics at certain times
