Oberon build [2018]
By Stonedog
Hello there, Oberon players!
Now, if you're here, odds are you can't seem to get an idea of how you should start off your Rage/Renewal Oberon build. Good thing is, I'll be happy to show you mine, as well as a few pieces of equipment that synergize very well with this kind of build.

Note: You will need to potato and forma your Oberon first!

The Build
Now, at first this build was only a test. I wanted to see if Quick Thinking combined with Rage and Phoenix Renewal, as well as Pain Threshold, was a good combo..

And it's safe to say it was, considering during a recent 1 hour Ophelia match against lvl 100+ enemies, my Oberon wasn't downed at all.

Considering Quick Thinking staggers the player when too much damage has been taken, a low level Pain Threshold has been added as a counter.

And I am aware, that Rage and Quick Thinking is, apparently, not a good combination most of the time. But due to Renewal, you should remain pretty safe while playing Oberon, (coupled with Phoenix Renewal.)
Reccomended equipment

Lesion is not only a strong melee, but a great status weapon as well. It pairs well with Condition Overload due to high base status chance, and is just as good with Healing Return.
- Due to Oberon's ability to cause Radiation damage through his abilities, you can deal more damage, as well as gain more health through Healing Return.

Hirudo is definitely a must-have. Due to its passive, Oberon can regain health faster, tank more damage, and still be able to deal a good amount of damage.
- Condition Overload may not pair as well with Hirudo due to low status chance, but Hirudo does pair well with anything crit-based. (But due to Oberon being a status frame, and so long as you have status weapons, such as Torid, Condition Overload on Hirudo should do just fine.)

Note: Sancti Magistar is decent, but I wouldn't reccomend it. On Warframe, movement is pretty important, so expect it to be hard to heal allies through Sancti Magistar's passive.

Additional note: Having a pet with you is just fine! The strength of your Renewal should keep the Kubrow/Kavat alive, and breeds such as the Adarzva Kavat help you and your teammates a lot with proccing crits.
(Not only that, but Oberon's passive gives them additional health, etc, as well as a instant revive.)
Tips
- When playing Oberon with this build, if you have enough energy to lay down a Hallowed Ground to grab a armor buff, do so! But make sure to place it somewhere out of the way, so you can cast Renewal again and keep the buff active without stepping on your Hallowed Ground.

- Trying to receive energy through the use of Rage is perfectly fine! Due to having Phoenix Renewal, you can do so and still be able to easily get out of harm's way.

- The lack of armor and armor mods in this build still affects Oberon, so make sure to keep an eye on your health if your Phoenix Renewal is down.
You've reached the end!
If this has in fact helped you, comments are appreciated, and I'll happily read them!

If you're a Chroma or Zephyr player, I have a guide for those two as well! However, due to their recent reworks, they aren't as strong or as efficient as they once were.

Lastly, if you would like to add me on Warframe, my IGN is now Taciturn-Knight. (You can find me in the Larunda Relay, I'm quite common there.)

Have a g'day, Tenno! :)
