Survival Guide #1: Zombies

Tips & tricks for handling zombie encounters in the world of Pale Lands VR. This guide covers all the zombies you will encounter in the game!

Wasteland Alert!

Welcome back survivors. The world is a dangerous place. When the virus spread we were not prepared. We have been defeated. This is humanities last stand and, well, our chances don't look good. But, there is hope.

We received news of other survivors somewhere in this wretched world. Our scouts have been deployed to establish contact with these outposts. We wait for their return but time is not on our side.

Zombies have begun massing outside of town, it is only a matter of time before they move on us. This time though, we will be ready. This guide will give you info on your enemy. By knowing your enemy you can win the battle. Study hard! The world needs your help!

Biter

Biters are the flies of our world. More an annoyance when there is just one, but there is never JUST one. Fortunately, they drop like, well, flies. Best to take them out quick or to lure them into a group and wipe them out 'splosion style.

Bony

Bonies won't take a bite out of ya. Nah, they're too cowardly for that. They'll just keep throwing their bones at you. This doesn't seem so bad, I mean they're gonna run out of bones sometime, right? Nope, those suckers keep growing 'em back.

Crawler

These guys are fast, watch out! One moment you will be tending a fence, the next you'll have a crawler down nibblin' on your ankle. What's worse, they know how to climb. Don't think your safe hiding in your tower!

• Preferred Target: Player

Giant

One thing's for sure, you can NOT miss a giant approaching! These lumbering brutes are bad news. They pack a serious punch and soak up the damage. Aim for their heads and pray you got enough ammo. DO NOT let them attack!!!

Spitter

Spitters are just the worse! They hang out in the back of mobs and spit these toxic goo balls at ya. Best to knock them away or dodge or something, that gunk gets everywhere and takes forever to wash out. Don't get me started on the smell!
