This guide is now kept only for archive
Due to the new December 2nd, 2013 patch which replace the Capsule Shop with a completely new Ticket Shop system, the rest of this guide is no longer applicable to the game.

You can still read it just for the good ol' nostalgia.
The Capsule Shop, what is it?
The Capsule Shop is the place where players can use their ingame euro and AP to try and have a chance at winning stuffs by buying capsule.

To win Capsule stuffs, you need extreme patience and luck. Don't be angry and mad if you didn't win right away, this will only make you waste even more money and get nothing in the end.
Ok, why would I waste my money on this Capsule Shop anyway?
There are many reasons I can state.

Do you want good collector and powerful weapons, like these?

Or do you want a vastly improved version of weapons in your normal Euro Shop, like this one?

Of course, there are some crap capsule weapons that you should never get, but generally they're better/superior to their euro shop counterpart or suitable for different playstyle. It's up to you to decide if they're worth to waste your money and luck in.
Cool, can you show me the Capsule Shop now?
Sure! Feast your eyes on this!

This is the place where everyone bet their precious money on these weapons! Now don't jump in and buy anything yet. I'll explain stuffs in this shop.

On the left, you can see the Capsule List. You can select any Capsule you'd like to purchase here and check for their capsule count as well.
If any Capsule reaches half of their count, the number will turn green (red if you're selecting it).

You can also filter which type of Capsule should be listed first. This might come in handy if you only interested in Euro Capsule or AP Capsule.

You can see the capsule count of any Capsule you've selected, as well as when you're going to buy it. Take notice of this to ensure the right moment to purchase it.

You can either buy 1, 5 or 10 capsules at once. The number shows how many unopened capsule do you have at the moment. You can't have more than 50 unopened capsules at a time (you'll be unable to buy more capsule until you open them to make more space).

Coupons can be earned when you buy and open any AP capsules. They can be used to buy some coupon weapons and equipments, like the Foodtray or Face Guard.

Capsule Voucher is used to buy AP capsule without having to use AP. You can only buy the 149/149 capsule (99/99 if the capsule weapon is a Pistol) and the 200AP Euro Jackpot. You cannot use the voucher to buy pre-release and any other AP and Euro Capsule. They can be earned by completing events created/sponsored by Aeria.

When you win a Capsule item, a green message will be displayed to all players in lobby on all channel:
Euro Capsule
The Euro Capsule contains mostly improved weapons from their counterpart Euro shop versions and some completely new weapons. You need to be at least Staff Sergeant 3 and having at least 20,000 euro remaining after getting an euro capsule to be able to buy Euro Capsule. You won't be able to buy them if you don't meet one of those conditions.

Battle Points

Battle Points (or BP) are used to lower the price of Euro Capsules by 1/3 of their original price. For example: 1 Super Redhawk capsule costs 1,500 euro without BP and only costs 500 euro with 25 BP used. 1 AK-47 Hawkeye capsule costs 3,000 euro without BP and only costs 1000 euro with 50 BP used. The only exception is the recently released Thompson M1921 which only requires 25 BP to reduce the cost of 1 capsule from 3,000 to 1,000 euro.

You can choose when to use Battle Points when you're buying an Euro Capsule. The game will show how much money and BP you'll have left (as well as how much euro left you can use to buy an euro capsule, in brackets).

It's best to save up BP for Euro Capsule since it can allows you to spam an Euro Capsule more than without it. BP can be earned by getting luckyshots (can be boost by armors and other items), finishing daily mission or rewards in Match Channel.

Individual Capsule

Each Euro Capsule weapon also feature an Individual one. The individual capsule is effectively like other normal Euro Capsule weapon, however the Capsule Count is hidden and unknown to players. This effectively requires luck to win, since you don't know how many capsule remain in that jackpot to raise your chance to win it.
If you want to test your luck, you can try this Individual Capsule.
AP Capsule
AP capsule, as the name stated, requires AP to purchase. There's no rank limit so you can freely buy them if you have AP to spend even at Trainee/Ducky level. When first released, they're mostly WW2 weapons and later on, also feature vastly improved euro shop counterpart and other unique weapons that are highly sought after as well. AP Capsule weapons will have a red HUD icon when used to kill other players.
Battle Points (BP) cannot be used on AP Capsule. However, you can use Capsule Voucher to freely buy any 149/149, 99/99 and 200 AP Euro Jackpot capsule.

Euro Jackpot
The Euro Jackpot contains possible euro prize that you can earn when opened. Many consolation prizes are also included like Potato Grenade, Desert Eagle, White Rose Balaclava and more.
Like Euro Capsule individual, there's no Capsule Count shown (although if you selecting it, exit the shop then re-enter it, you'll see the capsule count briefly shows 10,000, possible that there are 10,000 euro jackpot capsule can be bought -> 1/10000 chance to win the jackpot) so unless you have really really good luck or just have tons of AP to waste, don't buy any euro jackpot.

Pre-Release
The Pre-Release capsule contains an Euro Shop weapon that has yet to be released in the Euro Shop. It costs 130 AP for each capsule, and like the Euro Jackpot and Euro Capsule Individual, there's no capsule count as well. Since pre-release weapons are generally release in the next game update, most players don't waste money on it (that is, until the AK-200 being made AP rent only).
How does the Capsule Shop work
Each Capsule item has a certain number of capsules remaining out of the total. For example, if a listing says 132/200, it means that there are 132 capsules remaining out of 200. Only 1 permanent item can be won from the 132/200 capsule until the capsule count resets back to 200/200, accompanied by a ringing sound if selected. Sometimes, due to lag and many players purchase it at once, a player/several players can win the gun twice, resulting in the capsule count resets several times or starting at lowered count.

Each capsule is guaranteed to contain at least some of the items listed, but not necessarily the weapon you're trying to win. A non-winning capsule might contain a grenade, some Euros, a piece of armor and other items. The same consolation prizes won from capsules stack. For example, if you win an M67 grenade for one day in one capsule, and again in another capsule, your inventory will show you have an M67 grenade for two days.

The Capsule Shop server is based in North America server so EU players will have to time their purchase right. The Capsule count for all items will be reset everytime a maintenance/content update is performed by Aeria Seemingly not an issue anymore after April 17th patch. And as mentioned before, several players buying a single capsule item at once may result in severe delays.
How do I win a Capsule item?
Keep in mind that this following guide can only help you slightly improve the chance of winning a capsule weapon. You still need luck in order to win a capsule item.

  • If you really like a capsule item, check if it is really popular and sought after. If it is, the capsule count for that item will generally drop low a lot so you don't have to wait for an extremely long time to obtain them.
  • Check how many players are on the Capsule Shop. If there aren't many players, you better wait 'til more players join and start wasting their money to lower caps for you.
  • When the capsule count is low (green/red number or when players start spamming about them in the lobby chat at low count), keep an eye on them. Players will start to spam on that item real fast. Be prepared to buy 5/10 capsules, open that buy menu, look at the count and decide when to click that Buy button.
  • The lower the capsule count is, the better the chance are you're having at winning that capsule item. having a 82/200 count is better than 164/200 count in any day. Also, the more capsules you can purchase at once, the more chance you can win as well (buying 10 capsules from 82/200 giving you 12,2% chance to win compare to buying 1 capsule which only gives you 1,2% chance of winning).
  • Be patient! Don't get frustrated and spam the lobby chat just because the capsule count isn't low enough or you fail to win the capsule. Don't waste your money trying to bait people into buying the capsule by lowering it yourself either.
  • Don't listen to anyone in the chat when you're camping for a low count capsule item. You'll lose your focus on the capsule count and will be unable to buy at the right time.

In the end, patience is everything. If you wait long enough (as well as luck), you'll eventually win that capsule weapon you're longing for.

it is better to repair it when it just gets damaged. because if you wait till its almost broken then it'll be like buying the gun again.
